If the original wasn’t hype enough, then the remix is crazier. With the success of Future Fambo’s “Bloodclaute Song“, he enlisted Dancehall heavyweights Beenie Man, Demarco, and Sean Paul for the remix! Produced by Stylez and Magnedo 7, we hear each artist adding their own energy to a single that has been very hot in the streets since its release. Fambo has definitely found another hit as he preps his “Evolve – The Uprise” album. If you like the “Bloodclaute song“, check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

It’s a special night for the “Doctor” Beenie Man as he celebrates his 42nd birthday and Onstage ensured it was an even better event. Starting off with a toast, tributes and a “Happy Birthday” song, Beenie’s day was well celebrated. Here he spoke about some great moments in his life and career, and later went on to perform some of his hits. An entertaining set by the Birthday Boy, I wish him nothing but long life and more success. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

If you caught last week’s Beenie Man Interview on Onstage, you know there’d be a follow up. Speaking his side of the story is Actor Garfield Reid a.k.a. “Bad Boy Trevor“. Here he spoke about his incident with Beenie Man, defending his character, his role in Dancehall and Dancehall events, and his acting career. It was only right Trevor defended himself on Onstage, let’s hope there is really a clean up in the Dancehall circles in the future. There are some things that Beenie Man is not a fan of, and recently he was very vocal about them. Tonight on Onstage spoke on a few incidents and more. Here he spoke on being an Ambassador for Dancehall and not tolerating certain things being promoted, his incident with actor Bad Bwoy Trevor, urging more respect and responsibility in Dancehall, calling on the Government to provide more jobs, his thoughts on Jinx vs Usain Bolt, and his absence from “Best of the Best“. Being a Dancehall King, it’s only right to be vocal about things you disapprove of on the scene. We hope to see a follow up on Beenie’s campaign. Who am I? I’m that…you know the rest. Dropping the remix to their “I’m That…” single is US Virgin Islands duo Rock City. Featuring contributions from Beenie Man and NY Rapper Azealia Banks, a Caribbean connection is made and lines from “Sim Simma” are borrowed. Rock City have been in the music business for a pretty long time and have worked with the likes of Akon, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson and much more. You can catch them in the studio recording, producing, and writing for some of your favourite acts. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
History has been made as two Deejays that have feuded and made up over the years have finally recorded their first song together. Those artists are Bounty Killa and Beenie Man with their single, “Legendary“. Produced by Esco for StarStruck Records, we hear the veteran artists dropping some legendary lyrics and showing that after all these years, they still have have what it takes when it comes to Dancehall music. An interesting single here and this is something that will have fans asking, “What took y’all so long?“. After many feuds and make ups, I hope they can go as far as making a full collaborative project. No more beef please. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
With a clash of cultures comes a new single from the “SnowMan” himself, Young Jeezy. Titled “Link Up” and features Dancehall artist Beenie Man and crooner Ty Dolla $ign with production from DJ Mustard, they aim to bring a gangsta party wherever you are. Nothing really new here, only a mix of Hip Hop and Dancehall music matched with a DJ Mustard beat. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Dancehall royalty graced the set of Onstage earlier in the form of Dancehall King Beenie Man and Dancehall Queen Lady Saw. Being interviewed together for the first time they spoke about being on LIME’s “Full Black” event, Lady Saw’s new album, Beenie’s recent tour and working on new music, Lady Saw mentoring Lisa Hyper and more. This was a fun interview as two Dancehall veterans have laughs with Winford and speak candidly here. Check out their performances at “Full Black“.
