Things do get tense during election time, and there have been parades of political colours Islandwide thanks to various rallies. While music has always been a part of these festivities, Dancehall Artists Christopher Martin and Valiant step out with a message on, “Fight For Better“.
Released through GMR Records, Christopher Martin and Valiant seek unity in “Fight For Better”. While there have been many fights over party colours with some becoming violent over the years, Martin and Valiant are spreading a message of doing away with the politics and politrix, and unite the people for a better Jamaica. They call out corrupt Ministers and those who practice evil deeds, and in the KRE8-directed Music Video, they highlight and encourage unity in all areas, encouraging the nation to follow these examples. May these elections be safe, free, and fair. No man is an Island.
