.@SheenWorks Gets Real In His Debut Video For “Lot To Lose”!

Today’s new entry comes from Singer/Songwriter/Producer Sheen (formerly known as Ashani), and you will feel the emotions in this one. Recently, he made his video debut with the single, “Lot To Lose“. Brought to you by the combined efforts of Stephanie Channer, Live High Meds, and Andre Livingston, Sheen is seen here belting out the Blues as he deals with some difficulties in a relationship. Co-written by Roe Summerz and produced by Irish Hill Records, this one is definitely a repeater as many of us can relate to the scenarios sung here. We love the direction of the video here as it fits the dark tone of the lyrics, simple and effective (and black and white (the proper term, right?)). Nothing like a good pair of Clarks shoes to enhance your outlook on life eh? While we put you on to knowing the real pairs from the fake with Kevin2woKrayzee 4 years ago, today we celebrate the iconic Footwear Brand with The No-Maddz! While they released the Eriq Sterling assisted and Walshy Fire and The Wixard produced single recently, they double up today with the music video for “Clarkz Like Dis“! Shot in the UK by Henry Robinson and directed by the now duo of Sheldon Shepherd and Everaldo Creary along with Miael McGeachy, we get a colourful visual highlighting the many silhouettes that Clarks has to offer along with some unique fashion pieces. We also get a bit of social commentary throughout so stay woke. A 4 minute and 20 second video? Stoners unite! Whether you’re a Desert Clarks wearer from Downtown Kingston, a Bankrobber stepper in Brixton, or a Wallabee don from New York, we all can appreciate this selection. Who has a Clarks like dis? Today’s new entry comes from UK Recording Artist Biz as she teams up with Jamaican Producer Wavy Jones for her new single, “No Fuss“. Here she gives listeners a lil bit of Hip Hop and R&B as she speaks on being a “Ride or die Chick“, not bringing drama, and being a one of a kind girl for someone who will treat her right. She lets us in on some of her experiences in a relationship, and lets that person know that if he doesn’t act right, she’ll move on. If she’s the one you need, you have to let her know. Jones’ sampled based production on this track fits the lyrics well and definitely adds to the replay value. Imagine a video for this track. R&B Veteran Keith Sweat always had a thing for delivering that feel good grown folks music. From his debut decades ago, he has been the one to turn up the heat for the ladies. Recently, he released his 13th studio album, “Playing For Keeps“. While fans know what to expect from the R&B Crooner, his collaboration with Dancehall Artist Alkaline on “Fuego” was a pump on the brakes. The track, which also features Akon and RayFade, boasts some modern production and encourages you to bust a move throughout. Are there hints of Aidonia and Di Genius’ “Fi Di Jockey” and Donovan Germaine and Dave Kelly’s “Dickie” Riddims I hear? Alkaline held his own on this track and this a huge look for not only the Dancehall Artist, but for the genre on a whole. Big up the Detta Boss. Keith Sweat’s new album is out now. Recently, Kevin Anthony Jackson o/c the Veteran Reggae/Dancehall Artist “Sanchez“, was recognized by the Government of Jamaica for his contribution to the music industry in the form of a street being renamed in his honour. “Park Lane“, off Red Hills Rd in St. Andrew, made way for “Sanchez Drive” and was met with much fanfare. We’d like to honour the living legend in one of the best ways we know how. Hitting up Spotify, we curated some of Sanchez’s greatest cover singles in the first volume of our “Cover Kings” series.
