Featuring 7 tracks, JKinggz wore many hats on this project as he co-produced the tracks with Hirata and Yung Tago, co-directed the music videos planned for the project, and released it through his JKM Ent. label. He started promotion for the project with “Hunger In Me” and “Back Up 40K” earlier this year, and looks to gain more listeners with the other 5 tracks featured. While his 2018 “30 Days” project highlighted the trials he was facing, “No Co-sign” finds JKinggz on a journey to finding himself, and making progress moving forward.
If you’re from the Caribbean, raise those flags up and rep your Island! If you’re born to Immigrant parents, raise those flags as well! Celebrating their Caribbean heritage today are Pro Era Rappers CJ Fly and Joey Bada$$ on “Rudebwoy“!
With the video directed by David Janoff, it was shot in Flatbush, Brooklyn and at the infamous Miss Lilly’s West Indian Restaurant. With flags waving, and Caribbean vibes flowing throughout the video, CJ Fly and Joey Bada$$ tackle the Statik Selektah production to show off their “Rudebwoy” styles, and show love to Islands that influenced their lives so much (CJ shares a Bajan/Jamaican background, while Joey shares a St. Lucian/Jamaican background).
While CJ Fly has been busy recording for himself and his BEASTCOAST crew, he’s also looking to release a full length “Rudebwoy” project soon. Joey Bada$$ on the other hand has been finding himself in campaigns for Paco Rabanne, and is currently working on new music. Check out the video below, and share with a friend. Heading over to Trinidad & Tobago today to check out Recording Artist FVRFVN and Sarkastik Ambassador’s new track, “Good Vibes“! Produced by Silent Sounds Productions, FVRFVN and Sark are on some laid back vibes here as they spark Backwoods and stay high above the troubles. They have no time to rush through the beat, they just take time to trek across it for 4 minutes and 52 seconds. While everyone is searching for clout, instant fame, and drama, this duo would rather be in the zone, and enjoy being in a space far away from the world.
Recording Artist JKinggz is working his way to the top, and is enjoying a lot along the way. He gave listeners a look into his experiences in late 2018 on “30 Days (the Life Changing Project)” which boasted the buzzing single, “Patek” (produced by Khali JAH and RazsyBeats). With production by RazsyBeats, Khali JAH, and JSebastian, and features from J.R.E. and DTG, JKinggz got people listening as he shared his story over 4 tracks.
Following the project, he went on to keep his name buzzing at the top of 2019 with Dancehall Artist Flexxx on the track, “Stack This Money”. Produced by Hirata, the Hip Hop/Dancehall collaboration found JKinggz performing it at various events, and enjoying plays worldwide. Looking back at his St Vincent background, he followed up with the reflective track, “Thirteen” which was accompanied by a video shot on the Island. He also gave his fellow Islanders a taste of his Soca side with a viral video for the track “Born Bad” in promotion of Vincy Mas 2019.
Looking to close off the year, JKinggz is currently adding the finishing touches to a new project titled, “No Co-sign”. This time around, JKinggz wears many hats as he took on the tasks of not only recording the project, but co-producing all 7 tracks, co-directing every music video planned for the project, and releasing it through his JKM Entertainment label. “No Co-sign” is slated to be released in late September at the start of the fall season. With features on Canada’s FEVA TV and 416andthecity, and New York’s WVIP 93.5FM, to being published on various websites worldwide, JKinggz is not slowing down on his musical journey anytime soon. When the fire’s ablaze, these two will step out ready to conquer. Having been collaborators for years, Blvk H3ro and Bussweh made the connect to give us, “Tunnel Vision“! Continuing the reunion, Producer Takunda gives the duo a proper Riddim to ensure that their sharp verses are well appreciated as they share their aspirations, and stay on the mission of delivering great music.
Blvk H3ro has been enjoying favourable buzz since the release of his debut album, “The Immortal Steppa” which was released earlier this year, while Bussweh can be found putting together dope verses on various productions, or shooting some cool videos in a town near you. Knowing these Artists, there’s a lot more collabs where that is coming from. Expect more strikes from “Renaldo and Messi” in the coming months!
