Today was a day of premieres for Safaree. Not only did he premiere his new website and music video, he premiered his collaboration with ZJ Liquid and Ishawna titled “Try My Love“. Here SB and Ishawna get raunchy over a head bobbing ZJ Liquid’s production. I believe a music video would make this track even better as I believe it’ll get lots of spins. What do you think? Hopping on Ward 21’s “Volume” wasn’t enough, so he had to shoot a video for it. Directed by Jay Parpworth and shot in Jamaica, SB and the lunatics of Ward 21 each drop bars and give the early 2000s Riddim new life. Pretty cool seeing all members of Ward 21 (except Kunley) in the video with SB, looking forward to more work with them. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

The gist of it
Art exhibitions are for artists, expos are for businesses; The Listening Party is where local producers, musicians, artistes and djs can showcase their works. Selected producers are allowed up to 20 minutes to showcase their creativity and skill in the art of beat making. Their sets include original music, renditions, remixes and artiste performances. The Listening Party is a unique talent showcase party with a great synergy of popular music, creativity, entertainment and fun.

Dropping new music today is Recording Artist Shie! Titled “Bandwagon Selecta” and produced by Nuh Response Production on the 90 Degree Riddim, Shie expresses her frustration with DJs and other members of the Music Industry who care more about money than developing and promoting new artists and young talent. Shie goes through the same thing as many others in the industry, but the talented bunch will be discovered in due time. Something you all should give a few plays. With Team Jamaica making historic moves in Beijing, China, Dancehall Artist D’Angel recorded a tribute to all the Athletes. Produced by Starrlite Music, D’Angel delivers a powerful tribute and calls on Jamaicans to celebrate these great young men and women. She also lists the things that make Jamaican Athletes so awesome on the track. If you have a flag, dutch pot cover, or a vuvuzela, make sure to wave, clap, and make noise for them regardless of the finishing results. Congrats to our Athletes. From being a hot artist for producers to sample to being a staple in International collaborations, Junior Reid is a living legend and he spoke about that on Onstage. Here he spoke about his International work including working closely with Rapper Lil Wayne, his new album “The Living Legend“, his sons being artists themselves, his single “Love You Back“, his “One Blood” single being a classic, being an Independent Artist and more. With a lengthy career, it’s good that Junior Reid is still keeping his name alive and leaving a legacy. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
