Sekani BRGHTN continues to make music that is not only entertaining, but has a message. Earlier this year he provided some positive words and let listeners in on his journey on the single, “Do Well“, which was met with great feedback. He now wants his listeners to aspire for more in the new single, “GOALS“.

Produced by Blu Majic Beat Co. and featuring frequent collaborator Mouse Sucks, Sekani BRGHTN gives listeners some well needed motivation on “GOALS”. He shares some of his experiences, but leaves the listener with a message that despite challenges you may face in life, never let them get in the way of achieving your goals. It’s hard out there, so a song like this is needed at this time, and we can only take it a day at a time. Sekani looks to further promote his single via a series of motivational posts on Social Media, and may just give the world another project before the end of the year.

Reggae Revolution’s “Lay Me Down” Featured In Latest @RaisingKanan Episode!

Reggae Music is just something that creeps into every part of your life, and it’s such a good thing. While we enjoy Reggae through our headphones and speakers, others are caught off guard through some of their favourite TV shows. One such show is a spinoff of the popular “Power” series called “Power Book III: Raising Kanan“. The series gives a backstory on one of the Antagonists from the original “Power” series, Kanan (played by Rapper/Exec. Producer 50 Cent), and in it’s latest episode, we hear a lil Reggae courtesy of US Reggae Band, Reggae Revolution’s “Lay Me Down“.

Released through Fervor Records in 2006, “Lay Me Down” is a Reggae love song from Reggae Revolution. The single was featured on the band’s “Reggae Revolution!” album. Reggae Revolution is a band that was formed in the 2005 by Multi-Instrumentalist/Songwriter/Producer Robert Cote in Phoenix, Arizona, and features Mike Bailey, Eric Eugene, and Katherine Rickling as members. The band was formed as a side project by Cote for Fervor Records, and after the band’s only album release, they disbanded. The “Lay Me Down” track can be heard in episode 2 of “Raising Kanan” during a scene featuring Actor Omar Epps.

Over the weekend, we highlighted Brooklyn based Reggae Artist Elijah Rocq’s latest single, “Tell Me What You Want“. A song that we believe will become a favourite for many in the coming weeks, Elijah Rocq speaks love to the ladies who are in need of it. Following up the single, is the music video, and we have it here today!

Directed by RedEye Media Production, Elijah Rocq shows that he isn’t full of hot air, and he will do what is necessary to take care of his woman. When he’s not taking care of his lady through picnics and romantic dinners, he can be found at the top of a building putting his all into the song. Now that we’ve heard “Tell Me What You Want” some more, maybe it should find itself in a soundtrack for a Romantic Comedy. Get familiar with Elijah Rocq!

Bugle Uplifts & Inspires On “My Life”

Iconic Reggae/Dancehall Artist Bugle has been one of the go to figures when it comes to positivity, consciousness, and motivation through his music. With well over a decade in, he has released solid projects, and singles that have caused a drastic shift in music. With his name highly favoured in various circles, Bugle is still trodding the path to give the world nothing but good music. It becomes further evident with his recently released single, “My Life”.

Released on July 2 through the Sweet Music Label on the “Bitcoin Riddim”, Bugle’s “My Life” has quickly gained a strong following since. With lyrics that reflect on his struggles and upbringing, Bugle is aware of how far he has come, and while he doesn’t aspire for riches, he wants the listener to go for what is theirs, and strive for a life that’s better than their struggles. Bugle effortlessly delivers on the track, and still possesses a commanding presence anytime he speaks. Dancehall Artist Kiprich has staying power, and it has been evident in his over 20 year career. When the public thinks he’s down and out, he emerges with a hit single to solidify that greatness has been within him. Whether he provides comic relief, promotes that he’s a formidable contender when it comes to lyricism, or motivates listeners on a track, Kippo has always ensured he has his tools ready to create. His new single “Stay Far” proves that he’ll have many more hits in the new decade.

Produced in collaboration with So Focus Ent., “Stay Far” finds Kiprich making it very clear that badmind is one of the many things that will not stand of his way as he has many goals to accomplish, and he wants to enjoy his life to the fullest. Detractors may come, and challenges may present themselves, but Kiprich is adamant that he will be successful even when the odds are against him. Over a Piano backed production, Kiprich gets into some of his signature singing to cast away anything that promotes negativity in his life, and does a great job at it. 

“Stay Far” was released in June 2021, and it has fans clamouring for more from the Artist as his Social Media reach grew exponentially thanks to posts on the Instagram and Tiktok platforms.
