With his lady by his side, he wants to conquer more, make multiple bucket lists, acquire more things in his name, and while he has money, he’s looking for more. The track’s title pays homage to the late Griselda Blanco, the late Colombian Drug Lord who was also known as “The Godmother“, and her mission was to climb to the top, reaping success, and ensuring that she did everything that she said she would. Alkaline may have people thinking that he’s laying low, but he’s just waiting for the right time to surprise that world. Maybe money buys happiness.
