This May, it will mark 45 years since the passing of Reggae Icon, Bob Marley. No need to tell it in full, his impact has been one that transcended generations in a number of ways. One of the names that put Jamaican music on the map, the Marley brand continues to thrive through his family, with many members carrying on the legacy, and creating their own. Ziggy Marley, Bob’s first son, continues to carry on the Marley name, and make a name for himself as well. Ahead of Bob’s 81st birthday on February 6, Ziggy shares, “Many Mourn For Bob“.
Co-directed with Zach Weinberg, Ziggy Marley shares a dedication to his Father Bob in, “Many Mourn For Bob”. Joined by his Brother Stephen later on, Ziggy speaks on the impact his Father made, reflect on losing him, and reassures that the legacy will be carried on for the next generation. “Many Mourn For Bob” appears on Ziggy’s upcoming “Brightside” album, which will hit the streams on April 18. Long live Bob Marley!
