Kyodi Dedicates 1st Project “146” To Late Mother

June 14, 2024 is a date Dancehall Artist Kyodi will never forget. On that day, his Mother lost her fight with Breast Cancer. While we will never understand his pain, we express our condolences. A year later, he releases his debut album called, “146“, which is dedicated to his late Mother.

Featuring 14 tracks, Kyodi turns his pain into music with the album, “146”. The Deejay continues to showcase his skillset that has grown over the years, still holding his own in a scene that changes rapidly. Guided by the love and memory of his Mother, the Deejay ensures that his debut project is one that will be the topic of discussion as it features music for all tastes. Alien Mob oversees production on “146”, while Nhance, Shane O, and Tishaine join in on a couple tracks. Kyodi has mourned, but he will keep making his Mother proud.

In this life, you’re met with all sort of challenges, some come in the form of people. For a better life, you just have to know how to deal with them. Shane O has met all sort of people in his life, and he tries to avoid being deceived on, “Wah Duh Mi Heart“.

Produced by Tu Finga Deadline for Deadline Recordz, Shane O finds himself dealing with someone who tries to get one over him in, “Wah Duh Mi Heart”. In this situation, he’s dealing with a dishonest Woman, and for every deceptive she makes towards him, he finds a way to avoid it and call her out on her wrongdoing. She may have lies up her sleeve, but he’s seeing through them, and he’s seeing her for who she really is. Shane O gets animated in the Cire Arts Media-created Music Video, further adding to the creativity that he is known for. You have to be careful out there, lots of snakes pose as friends and loved ones. Be on your guard for your heart.

For close to 2 decades, Dancehall Artist I-Octane has delivered songs that tap into the everyday life of people. From songs to dance to, to songs that have you thinking about life, he has been one of the Artists on the frontline making a difference with some relatable music. Love him or hate him, his catalogue is extensive. Earlier, he shared the visual for the new single, “Opportunist“.

Directed by Bling Blang, “Opportunist” is I-Octane’s collaboration with Shane O, and together they talk about separating themselves from those who seek to drain their energy, distancing themselves from the users and abusers, putting themselves first, and ending the cycle. Those type of people had their run of doing damage, but today it stops. The video finds the Artists being caught up in a colorless place where people with negative energy are trying to hold them back, but they make their escape into the real world in the end. “Opportunist” was produced by NiNi Records/Conquer The Globe, and is out now. Round of applause.

For Dancehall Artist Shane O, he tries to live good, treat people well, and make good things happen for himself, and those around him. He speaks about it in, “Hygiene“.

When you hear the name “Shane O“, many will speak on him being an underrated Dancehall Artist. With many stories out there about his greatness, the Deejay continues to keep the Studios busy, and the streets flooded with music. For the high times, for the low times, he has music for almost every topic out there. Recently, he released the track, “Yea Yea“.

Produced by Brafazz Entertainment, Shane O walks with faith on, “Yea Yea”. He shares some of his observations about fake friends, people who will through all means to bring him down, and corruption, but shares that he’d rather keep to himself, and stay protected from whatever force out there that wants to harm him. The Deejay continues to release music with relatable lyrics, and lets listeners in on his mindset as a Songwriter, and an Individual who has dealt with a lot over the years. 2023 was another year in the books for Popcaan. He continues to hold his own as a Dancehall giant, a the 2nd Mayor of St. Thomas, and of course a Minister of Tourism as he has welcomed many of the big names on the Island. He recently concluded his annual UnrulyFest event in St. Thomas, but he had a few more tricks up his sleeve. Closing out 2023 the right way, he delivers a surprise project called, “Best Mood“.

Featuring 15 tracks, Popcaan ensures his fans ring in the new year with some unruly hits on “Best Mood”. The Deejay previously released a couple tracks off the project, and we can expect additional content in support of it come next year. Fivio Foreign, Vory, Vybz Kartel, Shane O, and Chronic Law make an appearance, while the likes of Anju Blaxx, Dre Skull, and Attomatic Records lend their sounds to the project. If you were one of many who missed out on UnrulyFest, hopefully this makes up for some of it. Ending 2023 the unruly way.
