When it comes to the ladies, it’s all about the beauty, the style, the fashion, and the presence that can set the mood. When it comes to the ladies in the dance, Japanese Deejay Hibikilla has his focus on them every time. He talks about it in his new single, “Batty Rider“.

Hibikilla handles the production on the new “Batty Rider” single, and he enlists Brazilian Recording Artist Arcanjo Ras, and Brazilian DJ ED as they share how they feel about the Women who know how to catch the eye with their clothing. Taking on a style reminiscent of the ‘90s Dancehall era, we get a track that aims to shake up the scene when played, gets the ladies feeling their best, and creating a vibe that won’t die down. For those unfamiliar, a “batty rider” is a pair of shorts that are extra short. Some would call them “daisy dukes” while others say “pum pum shorts“, and they are sure to attract a lot of attention. 2023 saw the continued rise of one of Japan’s leaders in Dancehall, Hibikilla. The veteran Artist has dedicated a portion of his life to the music, and the people have been showing a lot of love. While he has been active, the fans needed an album from him. He fulfilled their request with the release of, “Killertune“.

“Killertune” is Hibikilla’s first album in 12 years, and it is some of his best work to date. Packed with 12 tracks, the Deejay shows a renewed energy on the album as he gives us the hard-hitting lyrics that reflect on some of his experiences and ambitions, dabbles in various flows and deliveries, and shows that he is as potent as ever with his artistry. “Killertune” features an array of different sounds that Hibikilla handles with ease, including production from the likes of Young Beats Instrumental and EJ Fya, and the Deejay shares with the spotlight with KOTA, Tach-B, Laya, and DABO. Hibikilla sought to elevate his game however, with the introduction of his line of NFT Music. Produced by Young Beats Instrumental and featuring R&B Singer Laya, Hibikilla delivers bilingual lyrics on “Risin’ To The Top”, with a vibe that you can’t ignore. Laya provides some smooth vocals, and with Young Beats’ production, this track is one you can dance to (and maybe teach yourself some Japanese as well). Jamaica’s Kxrly Miyagi was responsible for the single’s artwork, and the single’s animated Music Video was done by Japanese Illustrator, MURASAKI.
