Recording Artist Yaksta is a living example of perseverance. Having started his career from humble beginnings in the 2010s, he has been making every year better than the previous one. The late 2010s/early 2020s gave him a number of high profile moments, and he has not slowed down. The past few months found him in some controversy, but he always had the music to focus on. With a new album ready for the world, he’s defending creativity, and ensuring that his lane fosters more success. He steps out with, “The Microphone Saved Me“.

Featuring 11 tracks on the digital version while physical copies boast 12-15 tracks on his official website, Yaksta is unapologetically himself with the album, “The Microphone Saved Me”. The title is a testament as life could have been very different had he not chosen to put his lyrics over production. His lyrics are raw and direct as they dabble into topics from relationships, to everyday life, to his societal observsations, and if you have heard the previously-released album cuts, he doesn’t hold back. Production on “TMSM” includes the likes of Track Starr, Princeton Brown, Kingsway Music Group, David Luckain, Kabaka Pyramid, and Troyton Rami, while Silk Boss, Lone Don, and Dre Tegs make up for guest features. The work never stopped for Yaksta, he just focused on becoming better. Thankful for that Microphone.

Featuring 16 tracks, Capleton’s new “Heights Of Fire” album is his first project in 16 years. The “Fire Man” continues his fiery reign, delivering music for the mind, music for the heart, and music for the world. The new album shows that he’s still the topic of discussion, even when the youngsters try to take over. Production on “Heights Of Fire” includes the likes of Little Lion Sound, Derrick Sound, Mixing Finga, and L’Entourloop, and they all give the legend new sounds to flex on, and show that age is just a number when it comes to talent. Not many Artists can reach the level of “legend” in Jamaican music, but Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel is one of those Artists who did. From achieving a cult-like following, to adding hits to his name for a couple decades, to becoming a name outside of music, not even Prison could hold him back. Now nearly two years since being free, he’s enjoying life, his family, his fans, and more success that has come his way. It wasn’t an easy journey, and like his new album, he left it to “God & Time“.

Featuring 14 tracks, Vybz Kartel is on another level with the release of his 19th album, “God & Time”. Kartel is still in top form here, showing an appreciation for where he is now, and what more he can achieve. His motivational tracks are present, but his signature girl tunes, and the music that highlights his status and rewarding lifestyle are included as well. TJ Records handles the production with a number of Composers, which include Zack Fostaty, Raphael Vivet, and Redboom Supamix. As for the features, Spice and Skillibeng show up, Vybz goes International with WizKid and Farruko, and he reunites with Shenseea and Mavado. Vybz Kartel is in a good space nowadays, and while he’s being a character thanks to his viral TikTok and Instagram content, it took God and time to get him here. Another level unlocked.

Recording Artist Runkus has been brewing up something good for a while, and he’s ready for the world to indulge in it. Known for his unorthodox wordplay and a flow that always stands out, and his consistency in song creating has resulted in people moving their feet, and getting their knowledge up. He takes his music to a higher level with the new “SUPERNOVA” album.

Featuring 13 tracks, Runkus aligns with Bahamian Conceptual Artist, Tavares Strachan for the new “SUPERNOVA” album. A follow up to the well-received “IN:SIDE” and “OUT:SIDE” albums, Runkus returns with more thought-provoking content, and extends his catalogue that has been lauded by many. Stratchan’s involvement in the album comes in the form of its cover titled, “A Map of the Crown (Fulani Red)“, which was inspired by Eve, the first Woman of creation.
