Elephant Man Drops Video For “Pretty Baby”

It’s a new day, and Dancehall Icon Elephant Man is at it again with something new. While the Deejay has been busy with the International bookings, he’s always finding time to create new music. He’s also promoting his latest EP, “Dancing To The Max“, so we can say he’s pretty busy. Tune in to the video for his new single, “Pretty Baby“.

Elephant Man’s “Pretty Baby” is definitely for the ladies. Directed by Simeon Di Great, Ele gets cozy with the ladies here, and from an intimately-designed room, to everyone dressing appropriately for the occasion, the sexy vibes are very present here. Ele borrows a little inspiration from the popular “Pretty Little Baby” song for the new release, but we get that signature energy from the Deejay throughout. For those needing something live from the Deejay, catch him in Philly on August 9, then the UK at the Ultra Weekend event in London, England on August 16-17, then on August 31 in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. The “Energy God Summer” continues.

Elephant Man Commands Respect In “Yah Smaddy”

Your reputation is everything, especially in Jamaica. If you come around with false stories and trickery, you will be dealt with. Dancehall Artist Elephant Man comes from a place where if you’re not an honourable person, it’s not going to be an easy life for you. From the east to the west, he shares “Yah Smaddy” for the real ones.

Done in collaboration with Damage Musiq, Elephant Man shows respect to those who set the standard, and calls out the fakes in “Yah Smaddy”. Inspired by the “Yah Smaddy” slang from Montego Bay, St. James, Ele does a roll call for all the communities in and out of Jamaica where some of the realest set of people reside, and warns the fakes of what can happen if they’re not careful. Ele brings the energy in a Music Video directed by KingSimeonDiGreat, and he’s accompanied by Dancers who helped to channel the energy throughout. With his recent national honour, it’s only right that he keeps the content going, and add to his legendary catalogue. With that said, he delivers the official music video for the track, “Every Night“.

Directed by SimeonDiGreat, Bounty Killa is ready for the ladies with the “Every Night” visual. The Johnny Wonder/Adde Instrumentals-produced single that sampled Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” gives us 90’s Bounty vibes as he declares that he will deal with the gyal dem business every time they come over. He doesn’t play about his “bedroom bully” ways, and he brings the energy in the video to the beautiful Woman who shows up at his door. With over 30 yrs in Dancehall, Bounty Killa has not slowed down, and has proudly held his stance as an ambassador. The national honour by the Government of Jamaica is just the icing on the cake. Elephant Man Gets Us Ready For The Christmas Parties With “Sling”!

There was a time when Dancehall Artists ensured that a Christmas song was a part of their catalogue. Some of our favourites would send it out early so that we could catch on to it just in time for the holiday parties, and the tunes would quickly become hits. For some time, that side of Dancehall died down, but the “Energy God” Elephant Man is here to revive it with the video for the Younger Generation Productions-produced track, “Sling”.

Directed by Simeon Di Great, Elephant Man returns as Santa Claus to bring good tidings, and a whole heap of dancing! With his Dancers ready, Ele kicks off a few dance moves including the introduction of the “Sling” dance, and remixes the classic “This Old Man” to get us in a vibe. Elephant Man grants wishes of dance during a time where the Choppa songs have taken over the scene, and looks to incorporate even more dancing back in Dancehall. Let the holiday parties kick off in fine style, and done the “Shizzle” way!
