The second staging of “VIDA… A Wellness Affair by PROVEN” is being hailed as a success by key partners as the signature event hit the target on providing over 200 clients of both PROVEN Wealth Limited and Fund Managers Limited a fulsome wellness experience on total well being.
Hosted at the “Worthington” at Spanish Court Hotel on Sunday, May 27, the event provided clients with practical knowledge, tips and tools aimed at improving their health, wellness, relationship and financial well-being.
“We were targeting the creation of an impactful and enriching experience, and the elements we weaved into VIDA allowed us to achieve just that,” said Chorvelle Johnson, President and CEO, PROVEN Wealth and PROVEN Fund Managers.

The event featured a live panel discussion with Drs. Shelly-Ann Weeks, Neil Banbury, Neil Gardner and a motivational talk from Kamilia McDonald. In addition, guests were able to indulge in the many offerings being provided by the partners of the event – JPS, EyeQ Optical, Toyota Jamaica, Wisynco, Lasco, and Adam & Eve Day Spa; with health services and checks by the Jamaica Cancer Society, Heart Foundation, NERHA (North East Regional Health Authority) and the Jamaica Moves campaign.
However, it was the cooking demonstration by Chorvelle Johnson, President and CEO, PROVEN Wealth and PROVEN Fund Managers, and celebrity Chef Oji Jaja that stole the show. Johnson, an authored vegan has invested in wellness as a lifestyle and prides herself on sharing personal anecdotes in her practice.
“It’s a blessing to be able to share this journey with my clients, and to help to provide some inspiration for them. At PROVEN, we believe that knowledge of your options and what prevails for wellness and balance is critical in today’s demanding environment. Our clients look to us to provide practical solutions, and we find creative ways to deliver,” Johnson added.
Other elements of the event included Express Fitness demos; a musical journey by Ibo Cooper and Friends, anchored by Christopher “Johnny” Daley and Shelly-Ann Weeks.
