Featuring 11 tracks on the digital version while physical copies boast 12-15 tracks on his official website, Yaksta is unapologetically himself with the album, “The Microphone Saved Me”. The title is a testament as life could have been very different had he not chosen to put his lyrics over production. His lyrics are raw and direct, and if you have heard the previously-released album cuts, he doesn’t hold back. Production on “TMSM” includes the likes of Track Starr, Princeton Brown, Kingsway Music Group, David Luckain, and Troyton Rami, while Silk Boss joins the album on one guest feature. The work never stopped for Yaksta, he just focused on becoming better. Thankful for that Microphone.
