Japanese Reggae/Dancehall Artist Zendaman has been on the scene for quite some time releasing songs that spread various messages, taking inspiration from the sounds of Jamaican music. Recently he released his latest EP, “New Vibration“, and is currently touring Japan. To support the new project, he released the visual for one of the EP’s tracks, “Sachi Are (幸アレ)“.
The visual was directed by Efé, and it finds Zendaman along with fellow Japanese Reggae Artist Kon Ryu giving thanks for their many blessings, and showing that joy is out there for you to receive. The video was shot in Jamaica, and the Artists can be seen interacting with members of the community they’re visiting, along with performing the track. Kon Ryu is a member of the Japanese Reggae group Youth Of Roots. “幸アレ” means Joy/Happiness, and the track was produced by Gacha Medz, a longtime Japanese Producer living in Jamaica who has produced for a number of Artists on Gachapan Records. The Japanese Dancehall/Reggae movement has been active for decades, and has produced a number of Artists who have gained their success in the field, with some tracks crossing over to the local airwaves. Give thanks every time.
