.@AmandaReifer Channels Sister Nancy For “Bam Bam”

Dancehall is powerful. Since its beginnings in the late 70s/early 80s, the genre took on the world with new sounds and vibes, and giving a platform to generations of Artists. One of those Artists was Sister Nancy. As the first Female Dancehall Artist, she took her opportunity to open doors for other Women to showcase their skills, and inspire future generations. One of the Artist Nancy inspired was Bajan Recording Artist Amanda Reifer. While she’s not a Deejay, the music of Sister Nancy brought out some creativity for the Singer. Namely her track, “Bam Bam“.

Inspired by Sister Nancy’s 1982 classic single “Bam Bam“, Amanda Reifer showed off her skills on a sampling of the track for her track of the same name. Joined by her band, we get a performance, showing that she took her inspiration and ran with it. Reifer has been on the scene for a number of years, releasing music through Atlantic Records. “Bam Bam” is the 2nd live performance she has conducted over the past few days, and we may get more over time until new music hits the streams.
