Wayne J Spreads Knowledge About The “Atlantic Trade”

The Rt. Excellent Marcus Garvey once said, “Up, you mighty race. Accomplish what you will“. Those words were said nearly 100 years, and still resonate with many people today, including Dancehall/Reggae Artist Wayne J. Recently, he stepped forward with the new single, “Atlantic Trade“.

Produced by Crossfire Entertainment, Wayne J shares a History lesson, and words to get the people going in, “Atlantic Trade”. For those who missed the classes, Wayne shares the timeline dating back to the time of the Tainos in the Caribbean, the invasions of the Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch, and English which lead to genocide, colonization, and the Atlantic Slave Trade, to Black people overcoming great oppression, to accomplishing so much today, and fighting to get back what is owed to them from the Colonizers. The Deejay handles the lessons well with his delivery, and ensures that the listener is tuned in to the kind of music that needs to be in more places. It’s all about militancy, and we look forward to more Wayne J like this in the future. Wise up, Black people. The time is now to revolt!
