1SkiMask Scores 1st International Record Deal With @Epic_Records

Dancehall Artist 1SkiMask is a great example of breaking limitations, and staying dedicated to your creativity to achieve success. The alter ego of Social Media Personality/Influencer/Actor Valdomore came at a time when the music scene chased specific trends, and the character stood out in a flock of emerging and upcoming acts in the early 2020s. He made his debut with the single, “Dawkniss”, and presented a character that would enjoy viral success, consistent bookings, and a strong presence on Social Media, and on streaming platforms. The hard work has been paying off, and recently, 1SkiMask set his sights on the International stage by signing to the renowned Epic Records.

In a joint venture with Against Da Grain Entertainment (ADG Ent.), Epic Records is the new home for the talents of 1SkiMask, making this his first International deal. The signing was made possible by Tyshawn “Fly Ty” Johnson, ADG founder and VP of A&R at Epic, who believes in talent that stands out from the crowd, and have created their own movements. Johnson was the man behind the signing of US-based Dancehall Artist Tina (F.k.a. Hood Celebrityy), who would go on to enjoy platinum success. “I was never one to stay boxed in, and it showed in the people I have worked with,” shared Johnson. “My love for the Jamaican music and culture brought me my first major signing in Tina who would go on to do very well, and everything has now come full circle with me signing 1SkiMask, a prominent name in Jamaican music. He’s a talent that I believe will take his career to another level, and this deal will make it happen. I look forward to guiding him on the road to greater success.” Epic Records was the home of GRAMMY-winning Dancehall Artist Shabba Ranks in the 1990s along with Lady Patra, and earlier this year welcomed prominent Dancehall Artist Valiant.

1SkiMask is poised to become to next big name out of the ADG Ent./Epic Records camp, bringing his unique personality and image, and witty songwriting from Jamaica to the International scene, and create even more good opportunities for his career. SkiMask joins the number of Jamaican Artists who have secured International record deals within the past few years, and is ready to make a bigger impact. His debut single for Epic/ADG Ent. is in its final stage of completion, and will go public in the coming weeks. 1SkiMask released a number of singles in 2024 which include “Energy”, “Love A Nuh My Thing”, and “Life Of A G”. Internet sensations/Dancehall Artists 1SkiMask and Deno Crazy share a friendship that’s beyond the fame and the music. They both have made themselves big names, and have made much progress as Recording Artists. They have since taken their names to new markets, and have been securing new fans and opportunities. We get to see their progress in the video for their new collaboration titled, “Energy“.

Shot in Atlanta, Georgia and Queens, New York, 1SkiMask and Deno Crazy take on stages in the video for “Energy”. Over production by N3monia, the Artists are in focus mode, and are all about protecting what’s theirs, giving back the energy that comes their way, and how they move in the streets. The video finds the Artists also sharing stages with Recording Artist 450, who is currently on tour with the Tru Ambassador Ent. team. 1SkiMask and Deno Crazy continue to be great collaborators and friends, here’s to them sharing more stages together, and making a greater impact.

1SkiMask Lives The “Life Of A G”

2023 was the rise of Dancehall Artist 1SkiMask, and 2024 is the year his brand gains strength. He kept himself busy in the 1st quarter of the year, and he has been taking stages locally, and Internationally. Keeping the momentum going, he released the video for the single, “Life Of A G“.

Directed by Shaq Kreative, 1SkiMask gets into some badness on “Life Of A G”. Over production by Mineral Boss Records, the Deejay lets us know what goes on in his dark world, and when it comes to war, things will get serious real quick. SkiMask will handle things on his own, his people will show if things get even more drastic. Expect to see the Deejay on more stages later this year, and we can also expect even more music. 1SkiMask Deals With Deception In “Love A Nuh My Thing”

Valentine’s Day came and went, and the real test of love happens. This thing called love is filled with good intentions, but those involved can do things to wreck it. Not everyone is about love, and that’s a problem. 1SkiMask is in the game, but he’s not sure if his love interest is in it for the right reasons. He deals with it in, “Love A Nuh My Thing“.

In a video directed by JV Cinematic, 1SkiMask finds himself on the wrong end of love in “Love A Nuh My Thing”. He admits that he loves love, but it doesn’t love him back as he is seen making efforts for his lady, but she only responds when he’s giving her gifts. We see him experience a love that’s not reciprocated, something that many of us have experienced, and she is seen entertaining another Man until SkiMask finds out, and sends her packing. “Love A Nuh My Thing” was produced by Don Flakes, and it shows the reality that many of us go through when we want to do, and be the best for our partner, but they have other plans and intentions. Despite the thug image, 1SkiMask shows that he has his softer moments, but his experience will make him harden his heart to love, although he promises to try again. It’s a cold world.

Many would share their opinions on how he blew up so quickly, but like his new single, you have to be “Smart“.

His success hasn’t been overnight, he shares what it took to make him get to this level, the sacrifices he had to make, and the dedication to the craft that makes him standout. Some think it’s easy, but this is a journey filled with many traps. While many of us aren’t so lucky to have them, 1SkiMask takes the time to acknowledge the ones in his corner. He speaks about them on the new single, “Real“.

Produced by Tru Ambassador Ent.’s own Week.Day, 1SkiMask uses the time to shout out the real friends, emphasizing the importance of love and loyalty in his life. In a time where it’s easy for people to sell out family and friends for validation from strangers and material things and relationships are broken because of deceptive ways, it’s a blessing that there are still good people around who value the importance of love and loyalty. 1SkiMask is still lighting up venues with his performances, and we know he has a lot more music to put out in the coming weeks.
