Reggae Music is universal, but you don’t need me to tell you this. For decades, the genre has healed and entertained the world, and continues to do so with the rise of various Artists. Recording Artist Hector “Roots” Lewis is one of those Artists, and even when his attention went into movies for a while, the music stayed close to him. This time around, he has embarked on a big moment in his career. The moment comes in the form of his debut album, “Cosmic Roots“.

Featuring 9 tracks, Hector “Roots” Lewis takes the music to levels beyond Earth with his “Cosmic Roots” album. The project has been years in the making, and came at a good time when Lewis is taking his talent to more parts of the world. Co-Produced with Johnny Cosmic, the production borrows sounds from different eras of Reggae, fusing them for a package that caters to the modern listener, and will be a mainstay for future generations. For his debut album, Lewis called up Busy Signal, J Boog, Ka$e, and The Movement as guest features. It’s always time for music, but this is now one of Hector “Roots” Lewis’ biggest moments. Tune in.

Ka$e Teams Up With The Green Lion Crew For “What’s The Word”

Any time is a good time for new music, and Recording Artist Ka$e returns with something new. The last few months found him connecting with the people locally and Internationally, and is gearing up to be even more consistent with the content this year. Recently, he shared the video for the new single, “What’s The Word“.

Directed by The Innr City, Ka$e teams up with the Green Lion Crew for “What’s The Word”. The Deejay shares his observations of what’s going in Jamaica on the new track, and he reaches out to those in power to see what are they doing to fix things, and ensure the people are living better lives. On the other side, he’s ensuring he’s doing his part to make sure his people are good, and secure a future for his kids to prosper in. The video features not only some great scenes, but includes a few Stunt Bikers throughout, performing some of their tricks that pays the bills. Ka$e has been steadily building his catalogue, and even took the stage at Rebel Salute earlier this to year to a very welcoming audience. What’s next for the Deejay? Stay tuned for the word on that.

Produced by and released through Cre8ive Tribe, Ka$e deals with matters of the heart in “Olive”. The track is a dedication to the love his life, showing his commitment to loving her, professing a love that will last decades. He aspires his love story to be like Popeye and Olive Oyl’s, the famous cartoon couple that first started in 1929, overcoming challenges, becoming stronger as the years go by. Ka$e gives us a soulful dedication here, and we expect it to garner some popularity in the coming days. This one is for the lovers, and it’s loving season so dance with them to this one.
