Shawn Storm Is The Definition Of “Loyalty”

Dancehall Artist Shawn Storm is enjoying freedom, and is back to the music like he never left. Shortly after his release from Prison, he released the track, “No Blood” which has been receiving positive feedback ever since, and has been hailed as an example of loyalty. Speaking of “Loyalty“, he emphasizes that in his new Visualizer.

Produced by Kwashawna Records on the “Super Hero Riddim” and originally released in 2019, Shawn Storm emphasizes his stance on “Loyalty”. As mentioned by Vybz Kartel, Shawn has been by his side through the various trials over the past decade and change, and has not betrayed him. In a world where it doesn’t take much for people to be disloyal in relationships, friendships, and partnerships, more should be like Shawn Storm. The R4Robin-directed Visualizer finds Shawn standing firm in his statements throughout, and gives more life the previously-released single. After 13 years, Vybz Kartel is a free Man, and is free for the world to know again. It has been over a week since leaving the Prison gates, and he’s ready to speak. Yesterday, he shared the screen with Isat Buchanan on his “Context Matters” Livestream, but earlier today, he make an appearance on Television Jamaica’s “Entertainment Report”.

Hosted by Anthony Miller, Vybz Kartel returns to the popular TVJ programme for the first time in over a decade. He spoke about life in Prison, life after Prison, his love life, his health, his grand return to the stage, and a lot more things. Fans were eager for the “World Boss” to get his first official Interview, and aside from Isat Buchanan, Anthony Miller was the right one to converse with. Here’s to more Interviews.

Shawn Storm Makes Return With “No Blood”

While many are celebrating the return of Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel, another individual is taking in his freedom from incarceration. That person is Shawn Storm. With all that behind him, he’s making moves that will ensure he never goes through that episode again. As he moves forward, new music is here, and it’s called, “No Blood“.

Produced by Kwashawna Records/Smoke Shop Studio, Shawn Storm makes “No Blood” his first official release as a free Man. The track finds him going through a number of things causing pain in his life, and while it can drive anyone else to do drastic things about them, he seeks guidance from above, and puts pen to paper. The track is just one of many tracks where we expect Shawn Storm to bare it all, as he has been through a lot over the past 10 years. We look forward to his progress as he enjoys his welcome party.

After well over a decade, Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel along with three of his co-accused Shawn Storm, Kahira Jones, and Andre St. John are now free Men. Vybz Kartel has been incarcerated since 2011, and was given the official sentencing in 2014, and since then there have been attempts for an appeal which was made successful earlier this year through the Privy Council. The world of Fans/supporters of the Deejay and his co-accused can finally breathe a sigh of relief, and prepare to welcome home the Men. Below are some reactions.

Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel along with three of his co-accused will have to fight a little harder as it has been announced that their bail has been denied. Vybz Kartel has been incarcerated since 2011, and was given the official sentencing in 2014, and since then there have been attempts for an appeal which was made successful earlier this year through the Privy Council. Given the circumstances, many are very eager to see their favourite Artist back in the streets, and back around those who love him, but they just have to wait a little longer. Jamaican Music is global, and that’s something that will never get old. When it comes to Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel, his music connects with many around the globe. So much so that there are Artists who are heavily influenced by him. There are too many to name, but there are examples like Shatta Wale being the “Vybz Kartel of Africa/African Dancehall“, Skillibeng and Sikka Rymes look up to the “World Boss” as a Mentor, and in recent time, Kenyan Dancehall Artist Rudra Kartel is inspired by him. He gained recognition in the late 2010s for sounding like the Deejay on a track, and since then, the comparisons have been consistent. Recently, he shared the Music Video for the single, “Manzi Wa Nairobi“.

Directed by Kenani Shot It, Rudra Kartel shares his love for the ladies in “Manzi Wa Nairobi”. The African countries have blessed the world with many beautiful Women, but there’s something special about a “Girl brought up in Nairobi“. Kartel can be seen canoodling with a love interest throughout the video, and he definitely gives off the embodiment of Vybz Kartel through his flow, and image. “Manzi Wa Nairobi” was produced by KingPheezle and Jojay for Stray Music, and was featured on Kartel’s “Ghetto Kartel Vol. 1” project from 2023. Kartel has been finding popularity on the TikTok platform for some time, and he has a fanbase that if handled properly, could grow to the levels of Vybz Kartel’s.
