Reggae has always been a genre that shared powerful messages, and today’s release is no different. St. Mary’s own Yaksta continues to hit the scene with music that will not only entertain, but make you think. He blazes it up in the visual for, “Roar“.

Directed by Khingcam, Yaksta sends a chat to the world, and judgement comes to whip the wrongdoers in the visual for, “Roar”. For those committing wrongful acts and living unsuitable lifestyles, the agent of judgement appears with his whip throughout, with Yaksta joining his brethren to share his messages. A lot is going on in the world, and he’s sharing his observations and commentary, and is not afraid to shake things up. Produced by Tamitalitha for Kingsway Music Group/Bush Music LLC, “Roar” has been getting a lot of love since its release, and the music video is bound to be a favourite for fans. Recording Artist Yaksta is one of those who ensures that he gives thanks for the blessings that come his way. He speaks on it on, “Grateful“.

Produced by Big Laugh Music, Yaksta shows gratitude for the opportunities that have been brought his way, and reflects on his journey in “Grateful”. Yaksta has been bringing his “22” album to more people this year. With new content coming out in support of it, he’s taking care of the fans until he announces his sophomore album. He has been busy on the road too, and his live shows continue to garner praise, and a demand for more. Until he hits the road again, he gives us a visual for the much-loved track off the album, “Conscious Badness“.

Featuring Chronic Law, Yaksta gives the fans a visual fitting for the “Conscious Badness” track. The track was produced by Black State and Bush Music, it’s a meeting of the minds and a clash of strong lyricism, and with a visual direction by Divine Global, the Artists take it to the community, and bring out their warriors. Yaksta has secured a number of high profile collaborations over the years, and his “22” album packed a number of them. The “Law Boss” and the “Bush Lawd” are believed to have a few more collaborations in the vault, and we can’t wait to hear them. From St. Mary, to St. Thomas, to the world!

Yaksta is back at it again with new music. The Deejay has been on a roll all year, displaying great consistency, and keeping his fanbase occupied. Like a loaded gun, he’s ready to fire, and he brings the energy and more in, “Response“.

Produced by Frankie Music/Bush Music/MaffiaLee Production, Yaksta takes the music to new vibes in, “Response”. Yaksta doesn’t play in real life and on the track, he has brooms lined up, and is ready to hit those who approach him the wrong way with something serious. The track is accompanied by a Music Video filmed by KhingCam/JV Cinematic/Quan Motionz, and we see Yaksta taking his place as a ruler with a few brooms within his reach. The broom takes on many forms throughout the visual, and it doesn’t take long for the viewer to see what they really take the place of. Yaksta continues to hit the people with new music, and creativity in the visuals. It’s “Bush” time.

Social Media is good for many, but Social Media has its bad sides. While it provides opportunities and gives people a chance at success, there are characters who will go through various means to acquire certain opportunities and success. Recording Artist Yaksta, while he has been benefitting from some aspects of Social Media, he has been observing the ways of people on there. He calls them out on, “Wrong Bang“.

Produced by Leadazz Production/Bush Music, Yaksta is speaking his mind on “Wrong Bang”. He calls out those who do immoral things to gain success and opportunities, and aims to stop them in their tracks as the youth are being brainwashed to believe that they need to do certain practices to make it in life. The accompanying Divine Global-directed Music Video finds someone living the wrong way for Social Media approval, and it displeases a number of people including Yaksta, and they go about handling that matter. “Wrong Bang” serves as a warning to those who are easily impressed or are facing times of desperation. Not everything is what it seems online. Be careful out there.
