“Wifey stand up and Matie walk out” is not the phrase you’d hear from Dancehall Artist Tifa. The one who was responsible for “Wife Me Up” a few years ago, has decided to look out for the Maties this time around with “Side Chick Upgrade“. Produced by Chimney Records on the Toll Road Riddim, Tifa plays the role of a Side chick who has ambitions of stepping up to the plate as “Wife” and does her part in ensuring that she is moved up very soon. Out from the dark into the light is the Matie’s mission, but for now she’ll play her role. Tifa has been busy this 2016 as she has dropped single after single, and kept her name buzzing from Blogs to Magazines to Music lists. One time fi di Matie dem! Is this a preview of Kill Bill 3? The Jamaican Karate Kid? No my readers, this is the latest music video from Dancehall Artist, Tifa. Featuring her singles “The Champ” and “Big Bumper“, this was directed by RD Studios with cameos by Dancer/Media Personality Schoy Stewart as “Sensei“, and Dancehall Artist Chi Ching Ching as “The Judge“. In “The Champ“, Tifa is on a mission to prove that “when gyal good“, she is the greatest with help from Schoy. In “Big Bumper“, Tifa plays host to a “Big Bumper” contest where women present their derrieres to three judges in hopes that one will be crowned a winner. Not one to miss with her videos, Tifa has always worked with creative minded people to bring us very unique and enjoyable visuals over the years. NEW MUSIC: @ItsTheTifa – Dreaming (Of A Better Life)

Some people dream of having the perfect home, others dream for an amazing partner, but for Dancehall Artist Tifa, she’s dreaming of a life without the dead weight in “Dreaming“. Produced by DJ Nicco’s SHS Records on the “Vacation Riddim“, Tifa drops notes about being free from the “waste man” and letting him know that there’s no second chance so he should stop scheming and keep on stepping. The production fits Tifa’s lyrics and delivery perfectly and I really believe this will a big single for her. Something different from the Dancehall Mermaid as she can go raw Dancehall in one song, and bring a feel good vibe in the next. One day dreams will come true, but it won’t be with you!
