Tech giant Apple has always been one of the leading companies when it comes to new devices. From the iPhones, to Macbooks, to Airpods, the company has contributed to the way people consume content, and made tasks easier. Earlier today, they launched new devices as a part of their “Wonderlust” September event. While the public will have new tech to spend money on, Apple launched a new campaign for their Apple Watch line featuring a familiar sound. It was none other than Gospel Artist Jermaine Edwards, viral sensation Rushawn Ewears, and Production duo Trinix’s “Beautiful Day (Remix)“.
“Beautiful Day” was originally recorded and released by Jermaine Edwards in 2014, but was given new life when a 2017 video of a young Rushawn Ewears reciting the song made a series of appearances on Social Media in late 2022/early 2023, and numerous remixes were made which included a version done by Trinix. To date, Trinix’s version of “Beautiful Day” has surpassed 45 Million views on Youtube, and the popularity of the viral videos and remixes helped to secure a Sony Music UK deal for Edwards, and opportunities for Ewears. Apple’s new campaign highlights the many times the Apple Watch has helped people who have had health issues, sharing a few stories throughout, and them celebrating birthdays in their respective homes. The “Beautiful Day” remix was used for the soundtrack, and will definitely boost the profiles of everyone involved.
