Mykal Malachi Turns Up His Ministry With “Peppa Sauce”

Earlier this year, Gospel Artist/Minister Mykal Malachi stepped out blazing with the new single, “Peppa Sauce“. With lyrics that will definitely charge up your spirit, the Sherwayne Music/DJ Chinny produced single started making its rounds on radio and social media, and gradually caught a buzz. Looking to close off the year on high as he previously offered the “Rise To Greatness EP“, he puts “Peppa Sauce” on your screen with a music video.

Directed by Award winning Actor Desmond Dennis, Mykal Malachi brings the flames in the “Peppa Sauce” video. Joined by some familiar faces, Mykal continues to spread the word of God through his unique delivery, and sharp lyrics. Desmond Dennis also plays a few roles from Obeah Man to Preacher throughout to amplify the message spread in the video. The word of God is coming in hot, so be sure to share this everywhere!

OLDIES SUNDAY: Claudelle Clarke – I Saw The Light (1979)

With 2020 being a year filled with crazy events, it’s only right we start our first Oldies Sunday of 2021 on a Gospel note. Today’s selection comes from Gospel Music Icon Claudelle Clarke with the track, “I Saw The Light“.

Produced/Arranged by Alvin Ranglin and released through GG’s Records in 1979, this was a cover of “The King Of Country Music” Hank Williams Sr.’s 1948 single. The song speaks of a backslider who looks back at the many things they have done before they see the light of God, and expresses how they feel after being saved. Before Claudelle Clarke’s version, “I Saw The Light” was already a Country Gospel standard, and was covered by the likes of Country Music Pioneer Ernest Tubb, Music Icon Pat Boone, Country Music Icon Willie Nelson, and many others. Claudelle Clarke’s version stood the test of time for being one of the best Jamaican Gospel songs ever made, and is still touching hearts to this day. The single was featured on Clarke’s 1979 album, “God Is A Mountain“.

Gospel-Reggae artist Yannick Paul returns to the scene with something new. While he shared a testimony of God’s love on last year’s “Any Situation“, he continues to spread the word of God in his latest single, “Bear Fruit“.

On the track, Yannick Paul shares that he is still walking with Christ, but at the same time wanting to do more to strengthen his faith. He shares with the listener that God is still real, and encourages others to know HIM more and stay connected. The same way we aim to stay connected to the Wifi, we should all work on being more in tune in our faith. Yannick tends to stand out with his delivery as he deejays, and he guarantees that no matter the number, this song will connect with them one way or the other. The single is a part of a project that Yannick is currently working on for a 2021 release. A music video for the track will follow shortly.

Gospel Artist @YannickPaul_ Debuts A Song For “Any Situation”.

New York based Gospel Recording Artist Paul Nembhard a.k.a. Yannick Paul has experienced a lot in his life, and he has a story to tell the world. Formerly a Dancehall Artist who performed under the names “Don Snypa” and “Dynasty General“, his music was an outlet for the many trials he and many others have faced. Influenced by Vybz Kartel, he released tracks like “God Nah Sleep” and “Who I Am“, and even performed in a Bronx based group named “Muzik Dynasty“.

The years that followed since his stint as a Dancehall Artist found him dealing with various personal issues, and through some soul searching he gave his life to the Lord. Now deep in his Christian faith, the love of music never left his side and in 2015 he released an EP as a member of the Agape Brothers titled “Organic Theology“.

Nearly 4 years since giving his life to the Lord, Yannick Paul wants to spread the Gospel with his debut single, “Any Situation“. Produced by StrateG Music Group, Yannick sits with the listener and lets them know that no matter the current situation they’re facing, GOD will come through when you believe and wait on Him. The song also encourages the listener to know their worth and don’t succumb to the temptations out there. He also shares pieces of his journey, and expresses how thankful he is to have made the changes in his life. A song that is needed, and is definitely one to share with powerful messages embedded. If you aren’t familiar with Wayne Marshall’s massive hit, “Glory To God“, you might’ve be living under a rock these past few months. While he has been climbing charts and assisting in winning souls, Wayne has been busy making a Short Film for the track. Teaming up with Director Jay Will, he has finally released a near 15 minute visual. Featuring talented folks such as Camille Davis, Sakina Deer, Zbek, Ruschiene Deidrick, Celene Tyson, Kevin Brown, and appearances from Tessanne Chin and Ryan Mark who also made the song, we get many twists and bouts of redemption in this one.
