On March 11, Jamaican music lost another legend. Renowned Recording Artist Cocoa Tea passed away, leaving many in mourning. The Man from Rocky Point, Clarendon was the Ingredient to many classic Reggae and Dancehall hits, one of the names to call for a Dubplate at a Sound Clash, and he leaves behind a legacy that many will appreciate for generations to come. With many taking the time out to spin many of his hits, we’ve decided to pay tribute to him in another way over here. Today, we present, the “Sampling Cocoa Tea” Playlist.
Cocoa Tea may not have had many of his songs sampled over the years, but there have been a number of Artists and DJs who have shown their appreciation for his music.
