US/Jamaica based Production company Lustre Kings Productions is getting ready to touch the world with some great music. With all that’s going on in the world, they look to provide some healing, entertainment, and consciousness with the release of their upcoming EP, “Star Chile“. With a blend of Reggae, Afrobeats, and Dancehall paired with some of the best voices in the business, the EP promises to be a favourite for many. Kicking off the EP’s rollout is the legendary Lutan Fyah with the track, “No Selfie“.
On the track, Lutan Fyah announces that he is only here for real people, no time for facades and false lifestyles. “Social media tends to have us believing in what we see online and on people’s profiles. That is not necessarily real life. I want to encourage people to know themselves and keep it real. It is a metaphor for being honest and true to yourself.” shared Lutan Fyah. Africa, Mr. Eazi a.k.a. “Star Boy“, and the “Voodoo Chile” Jimi Hendrix were all the inspirations behind the genesis of the “Star Chile Riddim“, the backbone of the “Star Chile EP” according to Andrew Moon Bain, one of the founding members of Lustre Kings Productions. Those elements pushed Andrew to do a deep dive, and emerge with the “Star Chile Riddim” which enlists the exceptional talents of Lutan Fyah, Pressure Busspipe, and Alandon. Consisting of 5 tracks, the EP will hit the streets on October 30 on all digital music streaming platforms through Easy Star Records.
