Elephant Man Turns Up The Party With “Gimmi Rum”

Just when you thought that the party was over, Elephant Man takes stage to bring the energy levels up again. Yesterday we shared his collaboration with Gabbidon called, “New Wave“, and will get everyone dancing. This time around, he’s keeping the Bartenders and Startenders busy with, “Gimmi Rum“.

Produced by DJ Mac/Circa Eleven, Elephant Man is charged up, and gets everyone to enjoy themselves in “Gimmi Rum”. Whatever your choice of drink is, keep it flowing while you party away with Ele. Make sure the waitresses are busy all night, and don’t forget to tip. Ele continues to provide the energy that is needed, and he’ll always secure a hit. The track is followed by a Music Video directed by Rojhay Anderson with a guest appearance by Content Creator/Podcaster QueenzFlip, and you’re invited to the party to drink and rave. Mavado Reminds Us That “God Nah Sleep”

Dancehall Artist Mavado has experienced a lot in his life. The past few years found him dealing with some bad times and loss, but he always believed that there was hope for better. Better came in the form of his son Dantay being freed from Prison earlier this year, and the reunion will be something very special. Regardless of all that happened, the Deejay reminds us that “God Nah Sleep” on his new single.

Produced by Chimney Records, Mavado stays strong in his faith despite what challenges come his way in, “God Nah Sleep”. He speaks on the plight that many Black people have gone through over the years, but provides the assurance that better days are near. In the Rizzy-directed Music Video, he shares clips of his son walking free from Prison, highlights that his former musical foe Vybz Kartel walking out to freedom as well, and shares news clips while providing strong messages throughout. The return of the “Gully God” to Jamaica seems farfetched due to his legal issues, but we look forward to the day he walks on the Jamaican pavement, reconnecting with his family, and enjoying home like never before. God nah sleep.

Produced by Yannick Plante, Patrice Roberts breaks free from a love that was not good for her in, “Ungrateful”. She has experienced her share of deceit, betrayals, and lies, and she’s kicking him to the curb, and focus on her peace. The Music Video that follows, directed by Lord Edit Production, finds her enjoying life again, finding her happy place, and moving on to better things and situations. The track serves as motivation for those who are in similar situations, and are encouraged to walk away. Patrice Roberts continues to be real and relatable with her content, and we can expect “Ungrateful” to be a top contender for the end of year lists.

Vybz Kartel’s “Clarks” Featured In New Supreme X @Transformers Promo

Where are the Streetwear Scholars? The Brand Aficionados? Streetwear brand Supreme has announced their official collaboration with the classic “Transformers” franchise. The hit TV/Film franchise teams up with the New York-founded Streetwear brand to launch a new Optimus Prime figure featuring special makeup/branding. To kick things off, the collaborators released a promotional video to announce the new venture, but a familiar sound was featured throughout.

In the promotional video for Supreme and Transformers’ new collaboration made by PlasticAction that features a dancing Optimus Prime action figure, Vybz Kartel’s 2009 hit single, “Clarks” was used in the soundtrack. Produced by ZJ Chrome, Vybz Kartel’s “Clarks” was an ode to the popular British Footwear brand. The song also featured a then upcoming Artist named Popcaan, who recently joined the Portmore Empire/Gaza collective, and Gaza Slim who also a fresh recruit. “Clarks” would take the scene by storm, and further contributed to the already growing love for the line of shoes in Jamaica, and the rest of the Caribbean. With Vybz Kartel being featured in the promotional spot, it’s only right that Supreme reaches out for a collaboration (Supreme if you’re reading this, I want a care package of the Vybz Kartel collab please and thanks).

Supreme x Transformers launches on April 17 on Supreme’s webstore.

There are Artists, and then there is Reggae/Dancehall Artist Bugle. For over 2 decades, he has been delivering solid music, and his catalogue is well-respected around the world. He may not have a GRAMMY yet, but he has the people who continue to support him. While he’s preparing a new album, he keeps the flame going for his last album, “Apex“, with new content. Earlier, he shared the Studio performance of the track, “Upside Down“.

Shot by Evidence Music, Bugle takes over the booth with the Studio performance of “Upside Down”. Produced by A/C Records on the “Helicopter 2.0 Riddim“, “Upside Down” is one of the more popular entries on the “Apex” album, and it was only right for Bugle give it some extra airtime. The Deejay has been busy on the road lately, still giving the people top tier stage performances, adds more followers to his growing fanbase. We can expect him next album to knock it out of the park, but until then, keep “Apex” and previous releases in heavy rotation.

Produced by Swann, Razornator, and Chm for Countree Hype Music, Mugs is in a dancing mood, and wants you all to catch the “Ram Dance”. He shares his need for the party, and with your drink or smoke of choice, you’re invited to catch a few moves on the dance floor. He demonstrates the dance with friends in a video directed by DreamX.
