Deno Crazy Shares His Ambitions In “God N Time”

Somewhere in the world, there’s someone praying and having the belief that they will see success, and be in a position to live a life that’s better than what they’re currently in. For Entertainer/Recording Artist Deno Crazy, not only does he wants to elevate his life in a greater way, but he wants to bring along his people to experience the same. It will take a while, but like his new single, he leaves it to “God N Time“.

“God N Time” was produced by Crazy Way Entertainment/6ixMill Records, and it finds Deno Crazy reflecting on his struggles, but having the ambition to make it big in life, and taking his people with him. The single was accompanied by a Music Video directed by JV Cinematic, and it finds him having a good time with friends, sharing his success with others, and reflecting on the days when he had nothing. Deno has been giving back in a few ways for some time, and they have been documented through Vlogs and other releases. From nothing to something, Deno Crazy is working on his dreams and ambitions.

Nigerian Singer Fave has been on a roll. Since making her debut in 2020, she has been building a solid fanbase, and securing hits by herself and with others. She has worked with the likes of Simi, Davido, Olamide, and even Dancehall Artist Masicka, and she looks to do even more this year. She stepped out recently with the new single, “Belong To You“.

Produced by Axon, Fave deals with matters of the heart on “Belong To You”. She wants to leave her lover, but he makes it hard for her to do so, and despite the conflicts, she still believes she belongs to him. With relatable lyrics, Fave is sure to win new listeners with “Belong To You”. The Axon production taps into a R&B meets NY Drill sound, and we can expect to hear this track in a lot of places in the coming weeks. Be on the lookout for more from Fave.

After taking a hiatus over a year ago, EvaFlow is back with some words for the world to hear. Whether he’s here to motivate or entertain, he brings good energy to share with everyone. He makes his return with “Skystyle“.

With video directed by Cesar Buelto for ALT Multimedia, EvaFlow steps out with bars of positivity to bring the light to those in dark places. EvaFlow shares his ambitions on “Skystyle”, and though his path may not be a smooth one and he has not been his best self at times, he is staying focused moving forward, and not reflect on his stumbles. He brings these words forward to connect with those in similar positions, with the intention of making them get back on the right path. In the darkest of times, we have to look for the light. The night of Thursday, January 25 was one for celebration as popular Entertainment platform The Fix hosted their 10 year anniversary event. Held at The Cove Restaurant & Bar in Kingston, the event was attended by friends, fans, Entertainers, and players in the Entertainment Industry. Hosted by MC Badda Bling of Di Unit, the trio of Ari Hammond, Naro Hart, and Javz Martin took centerstage enjoying all the love, being greeted by various individuals who witnessed their early days, to now them being one of the top names in Caribbean Entertainment. Along with the anniversary event, the other highlight was a Live Podcast where The Fix interviewed Dancehall Icon, Bounty Killa.

There were laughs, questions, memories, and joyful noises throughout the night, and The Fix trio along with Bounty Killa made it one for the books. If you missed out on the event, don’t worry as we have some highlights. The full Live Podcast will be released soon, so you can get your “Fix“. Congrats to The Fix on their 10th anniversary. Here’s to 10 more, and continue to create History. Look out for their “Welcome To Trinibad” Documentary later this year.

OLDIES SUNDAY: Lord Hummingbird – Teenage Bossa Nova Girl (1963)

Music has always been the topic of discussion, and with it has brought on numerous trends and movements. Many individuals have stepped up to make their contributions, becoming a part of History in the process. For today’s Oldies Sunday selection, we go back a few decades, and to the twin Island of Trinidad and Tobago to check out Albert Ribeiro a.k.a. Lord Hummingbird and his Orchestra for the track, “Teenage Bossa Nova Girl“.

“Teenage Bossa Nova Girl” was released through Hummingbird Records in 1963, Lord Hummingbird shared his observations sparked by the rapid growth of the “Bossa Nova” musical movement, especially with the youth. It was encouraged to dance to the “Bossa Nova” sound, and the new sound was like nothing being played out there. Originated in Brazil in the 1950s, “Bossa Nova” is described as a relaxed style of Samba Music that blended harmonies, Classicial Guitar, Drums and Percussion, making it an extension of the Samba sound. Thanks to a few Musicians and the Film “Black Orpheus“, “Bossa Nova” created waves in South America, eventually taking over more territories, influencing generations of Musicians. Hummingbird, a Calypsonian Artist, tapped into the “Bossa Nova” sound, and made it a part of his overall sound, making him a dominant force.

“Teenage Bossa Nova Girl” quickly became a hit for Hummingbird, and helped to bring his name to more parts of the world. For those still here, Albert Ribeiro is the Grandfather of Alfonso Ribeiro, Actor and Dancer most famously known for his role as Carlton Banks in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air“. He is currently the main Host of “Dancing With The Stars“.

Not much is known about Lord Hummingbird, but since the release of “Teenage Bossa Nova Girl”, Lord Hummingbird went on to release more music. “Teenage Bossa Nova Girl” remains his most well-known release.

Truvi Wants To “Hypnotize” You With Her New Video

Last year, US-based Recording Artist Truvi released her EP, “Sunspots“. The EP has been making its way to listeners via popular music streaming platforms, and the Singer has been sharing it with her audience through live performances. Keeping up with promotion on the EP for this year, she recently released the music video for the track, “Hypnotize“.

Directed by Daniel Muñoz, Truvi is cooking up something special for her lover in “Hypnotize”. She shares her feelings for someone, and in order to make him hers, she’s working on a few ways to lure him in, and make their union a reality. Some would say she wants to “tie him“, but she’ll say she “hypnotized” him. The video plays with the song title as you can see the room spinning, Truvi playing around with a necklace (or a pocket watch)  that is commonly used when performing Hypnosis, her drawing a spiral, and mixing up a “Love Potion” so she can have him wrapped around her finger. We know some viewers would suggest she prepare him some Stew Peas, but maybe in another video. Let Truvi whisk you away with her soothing vocals, and check out her “Sunspots EP”.
