British-Nigerian Afrobeats Artist Naira Marley celebrates another 365 days on Earth today. With age comes wisdom, and he looks forward to taking his sound to newer levels, and grow his “Marlians” movement. Also with a new birthday comes new music, and he released the new single, “Body“.

Produced by Niphkeys, Naira Marley shares his love for the Female anatomy, and an episode with a lovely lady over a groovy drum-heavy production. The bilingual delivery is a flex, and the track is bound to be a hit in the coming weeks. The track is accompanied by a Deebo and Cashh-directed Visualizer that will have viewers caught up in the beauty that is featured onscreen. Afrobeats Artist Davido has been through a few things in the past couple years. While he continues to heal from his dark times, music stepped in to help him, and he began creating. Out of those sessions come his latest album, “Timeless“. The album features 17 tracks, and includes a single that’s sure to make a lot of noise, “BOP“.

“BOP” was produced by Sparqq, and it features Dancehall crooner Dexta Daps. Davido and Dexta make a collaboration that promises to be a favourite for the ladies, and promote plenty of dancing. Dexta Daps has been busy performing in various parts of the world, and his collection of international collaborations continues to grow. Still holding his own as a ladies man in Dancehall, his music has definitely been speaking to them in various ways. With the new “Timeless” album, expect Davido to make a few moves in the coming weeks, and while he works on his healing journey, we hope for the best for him and his family. In the meantime, get to moving to this new track!

Some days are tough, and we all need some sort of pick me up to get us going. Today, we head over to Nigeria to check out AfroPop star Yemi Alade who offers something positive with the single, “Pounds & Dollars”.

With a video directed by Clarence A. Peters, “Pounds & Dollars” features Nigerian Rapper Phyno, and it finds Yemi Alade providing some encouragement here for the dreamers. The video shares a story of believing in yourself and following your dreams as a young lady enters a competition hosted by Yemi, overcoming negativity and getting encouragement from her Mother throughout. This fun visual can serve as a reminder that anything is possible for those who are in doubt, and as Yemi shared in her Twitter bio, “Winning is a habit“. “Pounds & Dollars” is featured on Yemi’s 2022 “African Baddie” EP.

Recording Artist D-Feezy returns with new music just in time for the holidays. The Deejay stayed busy in the early part of 2022, and took a break to deal with a few things. Still ensuring that he represents Jamaica to the fullest in Indianapolis, his catalogue has shown various sides of him, and his ability to extend his skillset through collaborations. Readying up for a new year of new possibilities, he keeps moving with the new album, “Rekanize“.

Featuring 10 tracks and 2 years in the making, D-Feezy brought forward plenty music to enjoy at the Christmas and New Year parties, and everyday after that. While Dancehall is his primary sound, Feezy has been tapping into the Afrobeats sound for a number of years, and it reflects on “Rekanize”. The production featured on the album compliment D-Feezy’s deliveries throughout, and guest features from the likes of Terapy, Afrorolls, Playbwoii, Ms. Monies, and Mr. Duke give the album’s experience even more support. D-Feezy has given a number of years to the music, and his rewards for all his work have been steadily coming his way. Keep “Rekanize” in heavy rotation.
