Dancehall/Reggae Artist Yaksta has experienced that himself, and went on to experience other types of love growing up. What happens when you cross paths with someone you had puppy love with? Directed by BadShoota for Now Or Never, Yaksta finds himself reconnecting with a love from the past in the video for, “Hooked On You”. Produced by CJ The Chemist for Chemist Records/Prime Nation on the “Brooklyn Girls Riddim“, we see Yaksta reminiscing his childhood days with his crush, and now that they’re adults, they seek to renew their relationship through a series of events. Recording Artist Yaksta celebrated his birthday this week, and with the new year comes new opportunities, and content. Having maintained some consistency this year, his numbers continue to grow, along with his catalogue. A few days ago, he shared the new single, “Pon Di Island“. Earlier, he shared the official music video.

Directed by Xtreme Arts, Yaksta gets everyone grooving in “Pon Di Island”. Whether he’s at a street dance with his people, chilling at the beach with a lovely lady, or dancing in the streets with a few Jonkonnu performers, the vibes can’t cease with the “Bush Lawd“. “Pon Di Island” was produced by Kabaka Pyramid, and released through Bebble Rock Music. Fans of Yaksta can look forward to him performing in a town near you in the coming days, and he is still putting in work on his sophomore album, which is set to be released in 2025. Yaksta is back at it again with new music. The Deejay has been on a roll all year, displaying great consistency, and keeping his fanbase occupied. Like a loaded gun, he’s ready to fire, and he brings the energy and more in, “Response“.

Produced by Frankie Music/Bush Music/MaffiaLee Production, Yaksta takes the music to new vibes in, “Response”. Yaksta doesn’t play in real life and on the track, he has brooms lined up, and is ready to hit those who approach him the wrong way with something serious. The track is accompanied by a Music Video filmed by KhingCam/JV Cinematic/Quan Motionz, and we see Yaksta taking his place as a ruler with a few brooms within his reach. The broom takes on many forms throughout the visual, and it doesn’t take long for the viewer to see what they really take the place of. Yaksta continues to hit the people with new music, and creativity in the visuals. It’s “Bush” time.

Social Media is good for many, but Social Media has its bad sides. While it provides opportunities and gives people a chance at success, there are characters who will go through various means to acquire certain opportunities and success. Recording Artist Yaksta, while he has been benefitting from some aspects of Social Media, he has been observing the ways of people on there. He calls them out on, “Wrong Bang“.

Produced by Leadazz Production/Bush Music, Yaksta is speaking his mind on “Wrong Bang”. He calls out those who do immoral things to gain success and opportunities, and aims to stop them in their tracks as the youth are being brainwashed to believe that they need to do certain practices to make it in life. The accompanying Divine Global-directed Music Video finds someone living the wrong way for Social Media approval, and it displeases a number of people including Yaksta, and they go about handling that matter. “Wrong Bang” serves as a warning to those who are easily impressed or are facing times of desperation. Not everything is what it seems online. Be careful out there.

Recording Artist Yaksta is a spiritual Man, and believes in a divine power that guides his path in life. He shares messages that aim to uplift the people, and so far he’s doing great in that department. With that said, he believes in “God & Timing“.

Produced by Shacko for Di Truth Records and Bush Music, Yaksta does some observations, and shares some positive words in “God & Timing”. He urges there be more music that positively elevate the people, less content about promoting corruption, and his want to see better for his people. “God & Timing” was featured on his debut album, “’22“. The accompanying Music Video directed by Divine Global Productions highlights his time in Germany in March of this year, and includes his experience in an accident that occurred during that time.
