It’s “Crunch Time” for the Hip Hop “Supergroup“, The Council (Five Steez, Nomad Carlos, The Sickest Drama, Inztinkz) as their debut Album’s release comes sooner than you think. Teaming up with Kabaka Pyramid, Koro Fyah, and Massy The Creator, they unleashed their 5th single titled, “Misery“. With Inztinkz handling the boards, the Artists offer some social commentary as they detail the conditions faced in Jamaica and how frustrating it can be to the point leaving the Island could be an option. In a society where the blind is leading the blind, and the system barring out those who can make a difference, it really is dread out here. Be on the look out as The Council sees September 29 as the due date for their debut Album, “Nothing Else Matters“. Artwork by Jome Anderson a.k.a. Scotty DreamKiller. Check out the track below.

“Nuh judge me true mi eyes red!” – @KoroFyah
Within 24 hours much can be accomplished. Believe it or not, a day from now #PayAttention goes live again and further establishes itself a milestone within the Jamaican entertainment diaspora. I have nothing further to say on this topic; come show your support.
Introducing the Mogul, Koro Fyah
A: I expect a receptive crowd, a high energy, some solid music and heavy bass!
Q: With a fresh track bouncing around on the airwaves and a solid project to come, what should patrons AND fans look forward to from Koro Fyah on stage?
As Heroes’ Day comes to a close, remember that today is a gift, that’s why it’s called the “Present“. With that said, Koro Fyah is here with a new song to let listeners know it’s a “New Day“. Produced by Kabaka Pyramid, Koro gives thanks to the almighty for another day of life and encourages others to do the same. He also urges listeners to make the most out of the new day despite the circumstances and keep Jah close. Great effort here from the Bebble Rock member. Something to listen to in the mornings before heading out to work or otherwise. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Dropping something new for the ladies is Kabaka Pyramid! Titled “Waiting For You” and produced by DJ Frass Records on the “7th Heaven Riddim“, he shares his thoughts to the Empresses and states he’s been waiting for the right one to appear in his life to create the perfect balance. A great effort here as DJ Frass provides the right production to fit Kabaka’s words. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Accurate! Today’s mixtape comes from the collaboration of Trinidad’s Lion Twin and Jamaica’s own Kabaka Pyramid. Titled the “Kabaka Mixtape“, this is a compilation of strictly Kabaka Pyramid singles and dub plates. Fans of the Bebble Rocker will add this to their collection and I like that this has a live feel to it. If you’re able to catch Kabaka on his European tour, play this before you hit the concerts to get extra pumped up. Check out the mix below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
