Titled “Lighters Up” and produced by DJ Frass, this is a song that aims to uplift people and encourage many to get out of the dark and into the light, to throw away the bad that darkened their past and move mountains in the present to have a bright future. It’s a real nice song, with positive lyrics that many would love and play numerous times. This song could even be used as a theme song for a talk show so producers get your cheque books ready. NEW VIDEO: @Hot97 Interviews @RealiOctane

As a part of his trip to New York for a performance at S.O.B.’s on Wednesday, Reggae artist I Octane made a stop at the Hot 97 studio to have a chat with Cipha Sounds and Shawnee Culture. Here Octane spoke on his style of music, his personality, the Reggae culture, Snoop Dogg or rather Snoop Lion, seeing the need to properly market a Reggae/Dancehall artist, and many other topics. I Octane also gave a brief performance for the listeners. Good to see I Octane on a big station like Hot 97, it’s also great when stations like them play many of our songs. Titled “Buss A Blank” and directed by The Board, we hear Octane encouraging people to “buss a blank” if they don’t condone certain acts and behaviors. We see scenes where Octane is deejaying while being surrounded by friends and another where he is in a clothing store surrounded by a couple ladies. We have a world premiere! Today’s new music video comes from Reggae artist I Octane, and it’s a medley. The medley is based off Octane’s 3 big hits, “Nuh Trust None“, “Mad Dem” and “Nuh Care Who Vex“. In the video we see Octane deejaying his songs in different decorated rooms. Two ladies are featured in the video as well but one seems to show herself as a demon as her face changed into a skull in a scene.
