With a popularity like no other, Takana Zion is one of the fastest rising Reggae acts in Guinee (Guinea). Being a part of the Abi-Reggae Music Festival, Onstage caught up with him to speak on a few things. Here he spoke about his beginnings, working on a new album named “Good Life” that was recorded in Jamaica, being the son of a Politician and his transition to becoming a Rastafarian, being a huge fan of Peter Tosh, using Reggae Music to help the people, the challenges he has faced, bringing his music to other countries and more. Here he spoke about the significance of the Music Festival, the Reggae Music scene and the influences, Bob Marley’s impact, breaking the language barrier, upcoming projects, and more.
