It’s a special night for the “Doctor” Beenie Man as he celebrates his 42nd birthday and Onstage ensured it was an even better event. Starting off with a toast, tributes and a “Happy Birthday” song, Beenie’s day was well celebrated. Here he spoke about some great moments in his life and career, and later went on to perform some of his hits. There are some things that Beenie Man is not a fan of, and recently he was very vocal about them. Tonight on Onstage spoke on a few incidents and more. Here he spoke on being an Ambassador for Dancehall and not tolerating certain things being promoted, his incident with actor Bad Bwoy Trevor, urging more respect and responsibility in Dancehall, calling on the Government to provide more jobs, his thoughts on Jinx vs Usain Bolt, and his absence from “Best of the Best“. Being a Dancehall King, it’s only right to be vocal about things you disapprove of on the scene. We hope to see a follow up on Beenie’s campaign.
