Are you ready for some good times this Summer? Let’s give you some music to get started.  Recording Artist/Reality TV Star/Model Jhonni Blaze a.k.a. Jhonnni has been releasing music for some time, but now she wants to secure the next hit. She takes it to the Islands with the release of, “Good 4 Mi“.

Produced by Dre Beats and featuring Elephant Man, Jhonnni is in the mood for that Island loving on, “Good 4 Mi”. Joining the “Energy God“, the collaboration is bound to connect with the lovers this Summer, and be the soundtrack to lots of good times. Jhonnni brings the girls over for an adventure in a Sean Artest-directed Music Video, and we see her bringing the energy with Ele throughout. Ele and Jhonnni previously collaborated on the 2021 single, “Where You From“. Directed by WaveGod, we are tuned in to an episode of “Cheaters” with King Cruff being the host in the video for, “Bunch”. He gets into Investigation mode as we watch a young Woman who has her suspicions about her Man being unfaithful. Cruff gets on the case instantly, conducting surveillancing duties, taking notes, and getting to the truth at all costs. Produced by !llmind, Don Mills, and Brandon Leger with a sampling of Shabba Ranks’ “Mr. Loverman” hit, Cruff brings some great vibes on the track, paying specific attention to the ladies who are in need of their lover man. When a Creative levels up, it’s about making way for more progress. For a number of years Trinidad and Tobago’s Sarkastik Ambassador and TOOFLESS have held their own in music and content creation. Their next move in forming a duo under the name, “MDNT EMBSY” aims to expand on not only their creativity, but to connect with more people around the world. Earlier, they made their official debut with the single, “24Hours“.

Released through Shoroc Productions, MDNT EMBSY aims for the ladies with, “24Hours”. They answer the call when she’s fighting with her Man, and the next 1,440 minutes are spent in the ecstasy department where worlds collides, feelings merge, and sparks fly. The duo reels her in, and puts her in a trance with the smooth production, and if you’re familiar with music from both Artists, you’ll want to keep this in your Playlist. My only issue with the track is that it needed more background vocals, but there’s always room for a remix. You know Sarkastik Ambassador, and you know TOOFLESS, now get familiar with MDNT EMBSY.

Recording Artist/Songwriter Major Myjah has been making plenty moves throughout the year, and he’s just trying to create his own lane like his legendary Father. From releasing his own music to penning songs for some of your favourite Artists, he’s putting in the necessary work. With all that work however, one must find time to relax. In the video for his new single, “Gyal Code“, he’s relaxing in the best way possible.

Directed by Waxbando and OffBuckFilms, Major Myjah gets close to the ladies in the video for, “Gyal Code”. Featuring Recording Artist Davo (son of this legend), the Crawba Genius-produced single finds Myjah making the claim that he makes all the ladies sing his songs. There’s no doubt that he does, and the video finds him interacting with a few on a Yacht overlooking some beautiful waters throughout. Major has been celebrating quite a few accomplishments this year as he shared the stage with Vybz Kartel in New York, joined Masicka in Miami, and performed solo at the recently-held “Best Of The Best Miami” event. Expect a lot more from him later this year. Ladies Love Major Myjah.

PinkLane Project Connects With Dopameen & More For “Turn Arounds”

On this platform, we highlight and promote those who have made contributions of all forms to Music and Entertainment in the Caribbean, and those who have taken their talents to even more parts of the world. The PinkLane Project is a Jamaica/International-based Production collective that has made significant moves locally, and Internationally, with the goal of connecting the world through their sounds. Lead by Taffari Coke and Jusa Dementor, the collective has covered plenty ground over the years, and is still putting in the work. Recently, they started a flame in the Asian region with the release of, “Turn Arounds“.

“Turn Arounds” is a track that features Thailand-based Recording Artist Dopameen and is a collaboration between PinkLane Project, Norway-based Up!Hit Music, Swimming Teddys, and Bahamian Producer/Recording Artist PHE. The PopRock-styled track finds Dopameen singing about breaking free, letting go all forms of experiences that aim to keep you a Prisoner, and choosing yourself every time. The backing Production compliments the Singer’s vocals and solid songwriting, making for a song that could find her on prominent stages in the future when she fully crosses over. Listeners may have their own comparisons when it comes to the sound, but will soon find themselves immersed in the track, spending hours at a time in rotation. The PinkLane Project has its focus on the world, make way for even more from the collective.

This year, International Dancehall/Reggae Artist Shaggy celebrates 25 years of “It Wasn’t Me“. Released in November 2000 and featuring Ricardo “RikRok” Ducent, this track paved the way for a mega expansion of the Shaggy brand, scoring platinum plaques, and placing him in significant parts of Pop Culture for years to come. While the track has gained love in a variety of ways over the years, it acquired a little viral love on TikTok recently thanks to a Producer named AceMitchh. His “HoodTrapRMX” of the song would pick up steam on the platform, kicking off a new challenge.

Released in April, AceMitchh’s “HoodTrapRMX” of Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me” found users on the platform sharing dance videos, GRWM (Get Ready With Me) videos, Sports clips, and random entries featuring the remixed track. The original video that premiered the remix garnered over a Million views, while there over 3,500 views released with the track being the soundtrack, scoring Millions of views. The original “It Wasn’t Me” has enjoyed viral success on Social Media, but this remix may get some extra love going into the Summer. TikTok users can start creating content with the sound starting here. Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me” is still available on all streaming platforms.
