As the year comes to an end, the “WYFL Riddim” by DJ Mac has been picking up steam with a number of Artists hopping on it. Whether authorized or not, the Dancehall streets are flooded with fresh recordings. Brooklyn/Trinidad-based Recording Artist Young Devyn wants to join in on the fun with the release of, “Everything Up“.

In a video directed by Jsitez, Young Devyn takes a crack at the “WYFL Riddim” with the release of, “Everything Up”. The Riddim joins a number of DJ Mac releases that enjoyed viral love this year, and Devyn continues to keep her pen sharp as she gears up to release her “Devyn” album in 2026. One thing for sure, if there’s a beat laying around, expect a Young Devyn remix.

It’s Christmas time, and it’s that time for music! On “Oldies Sunday“, you’re going to hear something classic, and something that brings back memories. Today, we head on over to Trinidad & Tobago to check out Sharlene Flores’ “Parang Soca Fun“.

Produced by Joe Brown with Wayne Flores and Ronnie Kalicharan of Flores De San Jose and released through Crosby’s in 1993, Sharlene Flores welcomed the Christmas season with good vibes in, “Parang Soca Fun”. There’s no Christmas party like a Caribbean Christmas party, and Flores brought in a great voice and music, and invited all listeners to partake in dance, food, fun, and unity. Listeners couldn’t help but dance to this one, and it quickly gained rotation in the Caribbean. “Parang Soca Fun” was featured on the 1993 album of the same name. Parang is a joyous time, and is made memorable with music by the likes of Sharlene Flores.

Produced by Tano, Coutain has Wedding bells on his mind and more in, “Wedding Band”. When a Man is in love, he’s coming to the parents’ doorstep for his lady’s hand in Marriage. The Artist shares a lot about his lady, and the hold she has on him. With all that in mind, he’s laying everything down, with every intention to spend the rest of his life with her. The single is accompanied by a Music Video directed by the Twin Island Company, and it finds Coutain reaching out his potential Mother-In-Law for her Daughter’s hand in Marriage, and we see scenes where the couple is interacting with each other. It’s been a few weeks since Trini star Mical Teja premiered the new single, “Last Train“. While it has been making its rounds, Teja has done something that not many have pulled off. He takes Soca to another type of stage with his new video.

Teaming up with The National Philharmonic Orchestra, Mical Teja brings all the Instruments out for a live performance of, “Last Train”. Arranged by Wasia Ward and conducted by Dr. Roger J. Henry, the whole world will want to be in San Fernando for some Soca vibes after watching this video. Teja pulls off something that should be commended, and he joins a number of Caribbean Artists like Shaggy and Sizzla who have collaborated with Orchestras, showcasing a different kind of versatility. Captain Plexx and Sandwich Media were onboard to capture this moment. Expect even more from Mical Teja in 2026, but you can enjoy this historic moment below.

On the track produced by GBM Production and Anson Pro, Nailah Blackman and GBM Nutron are living it up and misbehaving on the road in their new collab, “Tay Lay Lay”.
