Produced by Sulfa Ge Records/Ojay Dann Records/Nedrick Beats, Ymo G continues to get to the money wherever it is in “BLV”. There may be roadblocks and opposition, but at the end of the day, he wants you to believe in the mission, because the riches will come. The Music Video, directed by Banka for Bankroller Visuals and featuring emerging Video Vixen Zho (who pulled off the role of an old lady well), Ymo G is going the extra mile for the funds, even if it means breaking into houses. Despite the many debates of the new wave of Chop Dancehall, Ymo G is one of the voices who has gained a sizable following thanks to his catalogue, and he provides a visual of what can happen in that scene. YG Marley Shares Visual For Viral Hit, “Praise Jah In The Moonlight”

2024 is the year of the Marley. Bob Marley’s biopic “One Love” hit Theatres and did numbers, Julian Marley won a GRAMMY, The Marley Brothers announced a tour, Sharon Marley returned to music, and the Grandchildren of Bob Marley including King Cruff and YG Marley released music, and gained global recognition. YG Marley has been doing well for himself, his “Praise Jah In The Moonlight“, despite mixed criticism, has earned him over a billion streams, and has taken him as far the recently-held Coachella to perform it beside his Mother, Miss Lauryn Hill. The song has done a lot, and continues to make waves on Social Media, and YG adds more life to it with the release of the official Music Video.

Directed by Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade, YG Marley brought the energy of the song to Jamaica with the official visual for “Praise Jah In The Moonlight”. YG takes to the streets, where he proceeds to bring light and love to various communities and individuals by offering flowers, and channels his positive energy to others. The visual also finds him surrounded by Singers in a garden (shout out Yanah who has a cameo appearance), as he performs his hit that aims to climb higher in the music scene. The video features appearances by his Marley family, Kabaka Pyramid, Jesse Royal, and Miss Lauryn Hill. Speaking on Miss Hill, we look forward to the remix of “Praise Jah” with her lyrics. Recording Artist Jahmiel has experienced plenty in his life, and he has become wiser moving forward. He shares some lessons in the video for the track, “No Regrets“.

Taking it to the River with some of his closest loved ones in a Tinman/Swag TV Filmz-directed video, Jahmiel imparts some of his wisdom in “No Regrets”. Over production by New Empire Records, Jahmiel states that things happen in your life for a reason and people can let you down, but he has no regrets as his experiences helped to shape his life and way of thinking. He just needs guidance by the Most High, and he’ll handle the rest. Jahmiel has been staying consistent with the content, and fans can expect more from him later this year including live performances. Struggles happen, but it can make you stronger.

Kraff Brings Goth Vibes In “White Rum” Visual

Dancehall Artist Kraff continues to cover the music scene with his brand of music, and he is steadily winning over the people. With a new project on the way, he is making sure the people are fed until then. This time around, he shares the visual for the track, “White Rum“.

Directed by Shane Creative, Kraff brings Goth vibes in “White Rum”. Sharing a similar dark theme like his previously released, “Demon Crease“, the Deejay is pulling in ladies into his world like magnets to steel, and he is charged up thanks to Hennessy, White Rum, and money. Droptop Records and TheBuduDem provide the sound for Kraff’s serenade, and he continue to stand out with his releases. Expect more releases in the coming weeks, but for now, It’s time to get wild again.

Jamaican Music and Pop Culture will always go hand in hand. From TV Shows, to Film, to a way of life, Jamaica’s influence is strong. Recently, the Amazon Prime Video platform released “Road House“. A remake of the the 1989 cult classic that starred the late Patrick Swayze, the 2024 Film stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor, and it finds the character Dalton (Gyllenhaal), an ex-UFC Fighter, who gets a job as a Bouncer in a Florida Keys Road House, and the trouble that finds him there. The Film features a soundtrack that is filled with a number of Bands who play Rock and Pop, but a familiar song, covered by Singer Natalie Bergman of Wild Belle, could be heard in a scene.

During an early part of “Road House”, Natalie Bergman and Wild Belle covered Jamaican Rocksteady/Reggae group The Slickers’ “Johnny Too Bad“. Produced by Byron Lee and released through the Panther Label in 1970, “Johnny Too Bad” was about a Gunman who was known to committing various crimes. The song highlights his crimes, but was given a warning that when it’s his time for his activities and life to end, there will be no escaping them. The single quickly gained popularity after its release, and was included in the soundtrack for the 1972 Jamaican classic Film, “The Harder They Come“, which starred Jimmy Cliff. The song was covered a number of times before Bergman’s, and included versions by UB40, Sublime, Dennis Brown, and Bunny Wailer. “Road House” is out now on Amazon Prime Video.

When it comes to hustling, it’s all about Dollars and Cents. Anything outside of that doesn’t make sense. However you earn your bread is up to you as you ensure that things are taken care of. Upcoming Montego Bay-based Dancehall Artist Smiiley YS knows the importance of that, and he utilizes the means that are provided to get his. He steps out with the video for his new single, “Euro“.

“Euro” was done on the “Chakka Riddim” which was produced by DJ Mac/Crash Dummy and released through Young Step Music (Mixed by Tip God Music), Smiiley YS is all about getting to the money by any means. To get to the level where you’re “stink with the money” is not an easy feat, but faith can move mountains, fill pockets, and keep Bank accounts happy. It may be a lot of work, but he shares some of the benefits that come with his success as well. “Euro” was released in the early part of April, and has been getting positive feedback since. He followed up with a Music Video that was directed by Divine Global Production, and it’s all about the money, the Women, and upgrades to the wardrobe. Many individuals come from impoverished areas with difficult upbringings, so when the opportunity to get rich is available, there’s no turning back as a better life to live is out there for them. Smiiley YS may be new to the scene for some, but he is working on becoming an overall better Artist, and one to pay attention to. Time to make money.
