Tommy Lee Sparta & Skeng Unleash Havoc On “Protocol 2” Collab!

In 2021, Dancehall Artist Tommy Lee Sparta collaborated with an emerging Artist named Skeng. Together, they released a single called “Protocol“, and Skeng’s life changed even more. “Protocol” became a standout track for the two, one of Tommy Lee’s best collaborations, and Skeng found himself getting endorsed from some of the top Artists including Rapper Nicki Minaj, who then gave him a few big opportunities in the following months. In 2022, Skeng and Tommy Lee Sparta look to cause another ruckus with “Protocol 2“!

Produced by Dre Swade Production/Boss Lady Muzik, “Protocol 2” finds Tommy Lee Sparta and Skeng loading up even more guns. The Mobay Sparta boss and the Spanish Town Don secured another hit collab, and fans will give this one even more love. The Yaad Boiiz directed visual finds Skeng repping Sparta while Tommy Lee Sparta is incarcerated, with the rest of the Sparta crew securing the ends. While “Protocol” did a lot of damage, “Protocol 2” is here for another round.

Dre Zee Makes Impressive Debut At @ReggaeSumfest, Gears Up For New Music!

Montego Bay based Recording Artist Dre Zee is focused on taking his brand to new levels this year, and beyond. The rising Artist has been showcasing his talents on various productions in the past few years, and has what it takes to become a household name locally, and abroad. A Chef by trade, he ensures that not only he can feed the mind with great music, but feed the body with tantalizing meals daily. His musical talents however, was put on in full view of the world recently at Reggae Sumfest 2022.

Held on “Festival Night 2” on July 23, Reggae Sumfest became Dre Zee’s platform to show everyone that he is the Artist they need to know. Dre Zee shared the stage with the likes of Shaneil Muir, Beres Hammond, Sizzla, Koffee, and many others, contributing to an unforgettable night. Running through a few of his singles, Dre Zee spoke about the ups and downs in life that he and many others experience, and secured his stance as one of the representatives for Dancehall music to a very receptive audience, including those who attended online. Though his set was brief, Dre Zee was impressive, and those in attendance showed approval with a series of cheers and comments throughout.

With a wave positive reviews shared on Social Media since his Reggae Sumfest debut, expect Dre Zee to capitalize throughout the rest of 2022 with a series of live performances, and new music. Dre Zee has a few years of experience as a Recording Artist, and is known for the singles “In My Head”, “Money Deh Yah Nuff”, “One Life”, “God’s Push”, and “Curfew”. He is currently finalizing singles for release, including a few with One McKinley Crescent Records (OMC), the label behind his “Curfew” single. Fans of the Artist who are in need of a tasty meal can find him in Montego Bay at “Dre Zee Kitchen”, and be served with some highly praised cuisine.

Dancehall Artist Squash continues to give the people hit singles, and bring his brand to more places around the globe. Enjoying a respectable run of releases, he sees Social Media platform TikTok as a new gateway to promote his music. Enjoying some viral success from previous releases, he urges everyone to share his latest music video for the single, “Foot“!

Directed by DirectorBadz, Squash puts his best foot forward in the music video for “Foot”. With his 6ix crew in attendance, they all show off fancy footwork while Squash continues to dominant with his music. A preview of “Foot” was shared on TikTok a few weeks ago, so the music video is just a way to capitalize off of the viral success. Squash also shows love to his fans by featuring videos where they showed off their dance moves. Popular Media Personality Winford Williams can be seen dancing along with Squash, further showcasing that they dance is for everyone. “Foot” was produced by World Team Production on the “Sports Range Riddim“.

OMC Records Steps Out With High Profile Music Releases!

Montego Bay, St James based One McKinley Crescent, otherwise known as OMC Records, is a new Record Label that is on the verge of making big waves in the Jamaican music scene. Founded in 2020 by Producers Renardo “Bobo” Fowler, Kamar “Dropis” Lindo, and Ricardo “Ricky” Kerr, OMC Records was established to bring fresh and new sounds to the world, and recruit and assist in developing new talent, making them future legends and game changers. Looking to end the year with a bang, OMC Records gears up for some high profile releases.

While Riddim compilations are usually the norm for Jamaican Record Labels, OMC Records takes a different approach, and is closing off the year with the release of Shaneil Muir’s “Hype And Boasy”, and Silk Boss’ “Dat Rich”. Shaneil Muir, originally from Flanker in Montego Bay, has been one of the dominating female Artists in recent years, possessing a string of hit singles which include “Same Guy”, “3D”, and “Yamabella”, and OMC Records believes “Hype And Boasy” will be another single that will be added to the Artist’s hit making discography. Silk Boss is a rising Dancehall Artist who is fresh off the success of his breakout singles “Mankind”, “Life Story”, and “Geet Weh”. The Montego Bay based Deejay is one of the contenders for best new Artist of 2021, and his upcoming “Dat Rich” collaboration with OMC Records has the potential to take his career, and the Record Label to the next level.

The releases don’t stop for OMC Records as new singles from Lahba, Big Voice, and Drezee are scheduled to be released along with Shaneil Muir and Silk Boss’ singles. Lahba steps out with “Light Bulb”, Big Voice follows up with “Lion King”, while Drezee is next with “Curfew”. The Artists are just some of the few collaborators OMC Records has been connecting with behind the scenes, and the Label looks forward to support from public through Social Media shares, Radio Show spins, Playlists, and plays on music streaming platforms. Digital Music Streaming platform Audiomack is still making its mark as one of the leading platforms for artists. With their various avenues that allow for new and original content, artists can showcase more of their talent for the world to experience. With the launch of their new “Bless The Yaad” series, Jamaica gets to display fresh talent, unique personalities, and diversity on a weekly basis. The series has seen a favorable growth since the launch, and they have a lot more in store. For their latest episode, Dancehall/Reggae artist Teejay steps up to the mic.

With TGUT providing the beat, Teejay shows viewers why he is known as the “Uptop Boss” as he delves into various flows and melodies, and put some “Mobay badness” on display. Born Timoy Jones and hailing from Montego Bay, St. James, Teejay has been steadily making his name for a number of years. His name started to make its rounds thanks to the 2015 single, “Real Hot” on the “Liquor Riddim” produced by Good Good Productions. His career saw a rapid rise in popularity however in 2018 thanks to his “Uptop Boss” single, and he has managed to find a few hits every year since including “Grimy”, “Wata Truck”, “Up Top”, and “Owna Lane”. With the upcoming album “Rags To Riches” becoming one of 2021’s highly anticipated releases, he eyes for a bigger global impact with his music, and a place as one of Jamaica’s Dancehall legends.

“Bless The Yaad” is the Caribbean version to the popular Audiomack series, “Bless The Booth”. The series is executive produced by Tanya Lawson, with audio by TGUT and Flaire, and video by Sage English. The series premieres every Wednesday with a new featured Artist, and is filmed at the Reggae Legends Villa in Kingston, Jamaica.

Montego Bay based Rapper MoulaUE returns to music after a short hiatus. Having shown that he is one of the Jamaican Lyricists you need to know, he had to fall back for a while to deal with life outside the booth. Before he returns in a bigger way however, he goes back into the archives to share a few gems that never saw the light of day. Today, you’ll get a chance to hear them in the new “The Lost Files” EP.

Consisting of 3 tracks, MoulaUE gives listeners a freestyle, and a couple collaborations that were made for previous projects, but were left behind for one reason or another. Recording Artists Warm Soul, Minx, and JadaFilly appear as the collaborators on “The Lost Files” EP, and the production is strong on this release.
