Try not to get too dizzy here as Karma keeps it short, and to the point. With a project on the way, you’ll be hearing more of the Rapper in the coming months. If you think you can go bar for bar with him, call him up and shoot the fair one. Check out the video below, and follow us on Instagram at @13thStreetPromo.
Mobay Rapper Chance (a.k.a. Kans) continues his run of dropping new music this year. His “Indelible Colours” project wasn’t enough, so he teamed up frequent collaborator Daley on “For The Low“. Produced by Mxdnight, the duo speak on being deceived. While they do admit their own past mistakes, they were thrown off when a friend was involved in their love triangles. Guess this is a game of “Bun fi bun“, but the Artists do express their feelings on this one. Not nice being put down for the low. Video created by Ear Plugs, Artwork by the always talented Kidding Art. Get ready for more music from Chance, Daley, and the High Tunez Gang (HTG) soon! Check out the track below.
Rapper Chance a.k.a. Kans has been working. With tracks like “Chill Suite“, “Appreciation“, and “After Tonight” making their way to many, it was only a matter of time before he unleashed a project. Making sure his 2018 gets a good start, Chance presents his “Indelible Colours EP“! Featuring 6 tracks and contributions from the likes of Rosh Rebel, OneLoveTheo, Lee, and Daley, Chance is dropping music for those who like to chill, for those who are about the fast life, and of course for the “Gyallis Pros“. A project that should build a vibe and give you the feeling like you’re on the 40th floor of a high rise building in Miami. Chance will continue to stay busy for the rest of the year with more tunes, and videos! Bless up on the Birthday as well! Artwork done by the talented KokaBZD! Check out the EP below!
After giving listeners a fun single last year with “Chill Suite“, Recording Artist Chance kicks off his 2018 with the single, “After Tonight“. Produced by L. David and features Singer Lee with additional vocals, this is kind of a follow up to “Chill Suite” as Chance gets caught up in a lil affair that has moved from a few flings behind the backs of their partners, to feelings getting caught and drama brewing. We all know the game, but we also know there will come a time where things change for the better, or the worse. While we got highlights of Chance prepping his “Chill Suite” Music Video that’s hitting the Internet real soon, he’s also putting the finishing touches on his EP, “Indelible Colours” that will be released on January 6. We’re also unveiling the Artwork for the EP that was done by the talented KokaBZD! Check out the track below!
As 2017 comes to a close, we look back at a few songs that were favourites on the Blog for the year. While we can’t name EVERY one, we’ll give you 5 (in no particular order so hold off on the ego) to reminisce on, or get familiar with.
Taking the 3rd spot today is Jeeby Lyricist with “Mobaby“! Inspired by Recording Artist Jidenna’s “Bambi“, Jeeby teamed up with Producer The Kash (who remade the Instrumental) in May/June to speak on the ills that affect his hometown of Montego Bay, St. James. He even speaks on them through the role of a Scammer. Many come to Jamaica thinking it’s all white sandy beaches, continuous partying, and chill vibes. Just like the rest of the World however, there are issues like crime and violence, corruption, and poverty. A song with a message. If you missed our 4th pick, check it out here. Hear our 3rd pick below!
In music, an Artist shares his/her thoughts through a song, but at times it’s just not enough. Seeing that he has a lot to talk about, Montego Bay based Rapper MoulaUE steps outside the booth and shares his “Conversations With MoulaUE” series. In season 2, he speaks on his Artistry, getting his name out there, dealing with criticism, giving and earning respect, making music, and much more. The Rapper is currently working on a follow up to his “All U Go Get Until…” EP, so the converations should hold you until 2018. Check out season 1 here, and season 2’s clips below!
