Mavado Shows The “WYFL Riddim” That He’s “Bad & BBC Rich”

DJ Mac and Crash Dummy found lightning in a bottle with the “WYFL Riddim“. The 2025 release made way for emerging Artists to showcase their talent, gave established acts more hits for their catalogue, and even shed the spotlight on OG Artists to show us that they still got it. The Riddim continues to creep into the new year with well over 100 recordings to date, and there is no end in sight. Enter the “Gully Gad” Mavado, who steps out to the forefront with, “Bad & BBC Rich“.

With a video directed by Top Shootah, Mavado fixes his crown and speaks to the world in, “Bad & BBC Rich”. His return to Jamaica has brought new energy, and he uses the “WYFL Riddim” to send shots to those who have been attempting to tarnish his name and legendary status, and the video shows that he’s still good in his place. Over 20 years in, Mavado celebrated wins, experienced losses, but is still standing strong, leading his movement to prosperous times. The public still awaits his welcome back concert, but until then, we will get more music. The “Gully Gad” speaks.

It’s official, Vybz Kartel is in album mode again. Fresh off of his 2nd GRAMMY nomination since being free, the “World Boss” is not taking his foot off of the gas pedal. With new album comes new singles, and this one is very interesting. Check out, “PANIC“.

Produced by TJ Records, Vybz Kartel teams up with Shenseea on, “PANIC”. This is the reunion many were anticipating as nearly 10 years ago, “ShenYeng” came to prominence through the collaboration called, “Loodi“. This is a full circle moment as Shenseea is now one of Dancehall’s most successful Female Artists out, and Kartel is like a Grandmaster watching his student excel. The reunion is taken further with a music video directed by Shane Creative. Dancing Rebel and the Dancers are here, emerging Model/Choreographer Taneilla Francis is here, even more good people are here, with plenty Str8 Vybz Rum to go around. This could even be a Commercial for the liquor. Vybz Kartel is finalizing his new album, “God & Time” for release later this year. Will this one achieve the golden recognition? Featuring 13 tracks, Zagga welcomes positivity with the “Piece Of Paradise” album. The new album follows us his 2023 “Energy Never Life” project, and he’s keeping the tribe in tune with themselves through uplifting music, and give the world an alternative to the negative energy in the atmosphere. Amini Music is the label responsible for the release, and also handles the production on “P.O.P” along with Xihen Music, and Shakespeare Productions. Zagga also shares his platform with Tarrus Riley, Jahmiel, Alaine, and Chi Ching Ching who all deliver well on the album. Mortimer Gives Us A Visual For “Flowers & Flames”

Within the past couple of years, Recording Artist Mortimer’s time was filled with a number of performances, and he released music that locked in quickly with listeners. The past year also put his name in golden letters as his 2024 debut project, “From Within” was nominated for a GRAMMY for “Best Reggae Album“. He didn’t win the coveted award, but the rest of the world started paying more attention to him. Fresh off of the red carpet, he gives us a visual for the single, “Flowers & Flames“.

Directed by SAMO, Mortimer puts his music on the screens again with the Visualizer for his 2025 single, “Flowers & Flames”. The visual is filled with warm tones throughout, complimenting Mortimer’s performance, and the flames that are present. “Flowers & Flames” quickly became a favourite for listeners, and if you’re in Jamaica, you can hear it being performed live at the upcoming “Lost In Time Festival” on February 28 at Hope Gardens in Kingston. Recording Artist Nile SNL joins us in the new year with new music, and is determined to keep the output consistent. Last year he released his debut project called “Cold Nights & Fever Dreams“, and followed up with a number of singles since. Recently, he premiered the video for the new single, “Clap“.

Produced by Trex Bailey/Outta Nothing Production, Nile SNL continues his pursuit of the ladies in, “Clap”. Nile continues to build his catalogue with music aimed for the ladies, and maintains a respectable track record with the singles. With a video directed by Wincamx, Nile is seen trekking through his community, and also sealing the deal with a young Woman throughout.
