.@DaleyHTG Starts Off “2021” With A New Visual!

Over the past two years, Rapper Daley HTG has been staying consistent with the music in efforts to solidify his brand. His partnership with Miami based NEUYU has found him becoming more creative with the releases. Despite the pandemic in 2020, Daley stayed busy, and in 2021, he looks to continue his run. As a matter of fact, he kicks the year off in a big way with the release of the music video for his 2020 track, “2021“!

Directed by Diego Jeanty, “2021” finds Daley HTG not only performing his track, but we get some behind the scenes looks at him making music, and making moves to expand his brand. Along with music in 2020, Daley also found himself in the world of Podcasting with the 1257 PodParrie Podcast along with co-host Jeniel. Watch what he does next in 2021.

Justice The Artiste Steps Out With The “We Want Justice!” EP

2020 saw many artists stepping out of their comfort zone, or even making their debut. Overall, many of them provided great music for us to enjoy. Justice The Artiste tries to find a balance between making music that he loves, and keeping his Christian faith intact. Representing the new crop of Jamaican Christian acts who step away from the norm, we get to hear his new project, the “We Want Justice!” EP.

Featuring 4 tracks and a guest appearance by regular collaborator Kyxgston, Justice The Artiste gives listeners a dose of Christian Hip Hop with lyrics filled with motivation, spirituality, positivity, a little social commentary, and all around good vibes. Backed by some great production that borrows from Trap, Pop, and Dancehall influences, WWJ promises to be an entertaining listen, nothing like you’ve heard before, and will have you wanting to hear more.

International Poppy strikes again! Popcaan continues to put in the necessary work to solidify his place as a Dancehall legend, and an International Icon. The year saw him dropping hits and making international appearances, and today you can find him on US Rapper Meg Thee Stallion’s “Good News” album.

Featured on the track “Intercourse“, Popcaan did what he needed to do as he brought a lot of Dancehall vibes to compliment Meg’s sex talk over some Mustard production. The Popcaan feature was a much anticipated one since it was revealed earlier this week on Meg’s social media feeds. .@RxpFlo Makes A Statement With His Debut EP, “Trap Island”!

The Trap Hip Hop movement has been a huge influence since its debut over a decade ago. In recent years, it has touched the Jamaican music scene, and lent some of its influence to the Dancehall and growing Jamaican Hip Hop movements. With artists like Aidonia, BakerSteez, Tommy Lee Sparta, and Rygin King showcasing different styles, newer artists like Rxp Flo stepped up to bring more strength to the new Jamaican Trap movement. Recently, he took his career to the next level with the release of his debut EP, “Trap Island“!

Consisting of 4 tracks, Rxp Flo has been on the scene building a buzz and collecting a steady following in the process. The release of his EP shows that he’s about business, and will not stop till he’s one of the top artists doing it. It has been a easy road, but he is determined to make it. The EP features production from Metro 17 and Riot Records. “Making this EP helped me realized that not everything will go your way, it doesn’t mean you should give up though. Always move forward regardless,” shared Rxp Flo. “I had lots of down time while working on this EP, but I was at my happiest when I was at the studio writing and recording. I made new friends along the way, but I’ve also seen people I considered friends show me their true colours. These experiences helped me put together a great project, and I wouldn’t change a thing because I was given lessons on patience, dedication, and learning to make my own moves.

Tonight, he gives us a performance of one of his upcoming tracks called, “The Scrivener“. For quite some time, Chase Soundz has been giving listeners his blend of Hip Hop/Dancehall, and looks to be one of next big voices on the scene. Tommy Lee Sparta has been pretty busy in recent months. With numerous singles and albums everywhere, he aimed to keep his name hot despite whatever else is going on. Today’s no different as he released the much anticipated track, “Killers“! Produced by Thugz Bunny Music and features New Jersey Battle Rapper Arsonal, the track further shows Tommy Lee’s Rapper side (remember this collab?), and he handles his own along with Arsonal as they get into some Gangsta ish over a trap beat.
