Mackeehan Gives Us “Pieces” Of New Music

When it comes to the music, it’s not just about entertaining the masses, but playing significant parts in enlightening and educating. Reggae Artist Mackeehan has been one who has delivered music with powerful messages over the years, and he is still making it his mission. Earlier, he released the new EP, “Pieces“.

Featuring 6 tracks, Mackeehan looks to connect with more people with his new “Pieces” EP. The new EP is a follow up to the 2023 “Notes Of Passion” EP, and he aims to make the project something that becomes a mainstay until his upcoming album. Frankie Music Production oversees the sound for the EP, while guest appearances by Yaksta, Kabaka Pyramid, Trisstar, and Geo Lyrical contribute to a great listen. Yaksta is back at it again with new music. The Deejay has been on a roll all year, displaying great consistency, and keeping his fanbase occupied. Like a loaded gun, he’s ready to fire, and he brings the energy and more in, “Response“.

Produced by Frankie Music/Bush Music/MaffiaLee Production, Yaksta takes the music to new vibes in, “Response”. Yaksta doesn’t play in real life and on the track, he has brooms lined up, and is ready to hit those who approach him the wrong way with something serious. The track is accompanied by a Music Video filmed by KhingCam/JV Cinematic/Quan Motionz, and we see Yaksta taking his place as a ruler with a few brooms within his reach. The broom takes on many forms throughout the visual, and it doesn’t take long for the viewer to see what they really take the place of. Yaksta continues to hit the people with new music, and creativity in the visuals. It’s “Bush” time.

Social Media is good for many, but Social Media has its bad sides. While it provides opportunities and gives people a chance at success, there are characters who will go through various means to acquire certain opportunities and success. Recording Artist Yaksta, while he has been benefitting from some aspects of Social Media, he has been observing the ways of people on there. He calls them out on, “Wrong Bang“.

Produced by Leadazz Production/Bush Music, Yaksta is speaking his mind on “Wrong Bang”. He calls out those who do immoral things to gain success and opportunities, and aims to stop them in their tracks as the youth are being brainwashed to believe that they need to do certain practices to make it in life. The accompanying Divine Global-directed Music Video finds someone living the wrong way for Social Media approval, and it displeases a number of people including Yaksta, and they go about handling that matter. “Wrong Bang” serves as a warning to those who are easily impressed or are facing times of desperation. Not everything is what it seems online. Be careful out there.

Recording Artist Yaksta has a lot to say, and this time around, he’s not holding back. There’s a saying that goes, “Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes“, and Yaksta wants to talk about that on, “Walk Inside My Shoes“.

Produced by Leadazz Production and Bush Music, Yaksta has been feeling some ways lately, and he shares some harsh realities in “Walk Inside My Shoes”. In a world where pocket watching and people watching happen more frequently, we don’t know the stories behind the lifestyle and success of many out there. We don’t know how they got that opportunity to travel, we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors of that happy marriage, and we don’t know if that person’s wealth was made ethically. Yaksta sheds a light on the other side of those smiles, and emphasizes that if you’ve never lived their lives, don’t act like you know all about it. Many of them have issues, so mind your business. Gossip plays heavily into a lot of these pocket and people watching activities, and the Artist is calling out those who practice them. Comparison is the thief of joy, don’t follow the crowd.

Dancehall/Reggae Recording Artist Yaksta keeps the wheels in motion for his career, and being busy is an understatement. From releasing and promoting his debut album “22“, to performing on various stages locally and Internationally, to following up with new content, Yaksta and his team are handling business. For his latest single “Brandz Out“, he tackles another type of business.

Done in collaboration with Zach Staggers and Eitan Noyze a.k.a. Something D’Lux, Yaksta tackles consumerism, and the people who indulge in it. While many are slaves to name brands, he speaks about the ladies who own the scene when it comes to luxury fits. The accompanied music video was handled by Something D’Lux/Llama/Chris Elia, and it finds Yaksta in the roles of a Janitor at the Mall, and a consumer who can be seen shopping with the ladies. Sometimes it’s all about buying the brand you can trust, other times it’s all about keeping up with the Joneses, either way someone’s making the money. Ready for more Yaksta?
