Celebrate “Jamaica 63” Live At The 2025 Grand Gala

Today, August 6, is recognized in Jamaica as “Independence Day“. The Island celebrates its 63rd year of Independence, and every year it is celebrated with a “Grand Gala” event. Held at the National Stadium Complex, the event will boast performances by 2,500 performers, and honour a number of prominent figures in Jamaica, including recipients of the “Reggae Icon” award. The event has already started, so tune in below, and celebrate Jamaica.

Roze Don Plays Tour Guide Role In “Jamaica” Video

Dancehall Artist Roze Don has been staying busy over these past few weeks. He recently released his “Gold Medal” EP, and has been on the grind promoting it, and pushing content in support of it. Ahead of Jamaica’s Independence Day celebrations on August 6, he released the visuals for, “Jamaica“.

Directed by KD Visuals, Roze Don plays the role of Tour Guide for the ladies in the video for, “Jamaica”. From the Airport, to the River, to the party, the Women are safe and entertained when they’re in the care of the Don. The Countree Hype-produced track has been becoming a favourite off of the “Gold Medal” EP, and the video will help to rope in even more listeners. Have you tuned in yet to the new EP? It’s almost a year since Ghanaian Dancehall Artist Stonebwoy released his album, “Up & Runnin6“, and it’s still making noise around the world. Despite the time, the Deejay is still creating content in support of the project, with the aim to garner more listeners and viewers. Earlier, he premiered the video for one of the album’s fan-favourites, “Lovely Weather“.

Directed by Yaw Skyface and shot in Miami, Florida and parts of Ghana, Stonebwoy makes it special for the lady he shares his time with in, “Lovely Weather”. What started as him answering the door to a beautiful Woman turned into numerous moments of him connecting with various Women in various locations. The Shafique Roman-produced track quickly became a favourite for fans, and it was only right that a music video was made. As Stonebwoy continues to thrill people with the “Up & Runnin6” album, stay tuned for even more releases.

Recording Artist Jah Lil has been doing a lot to build on his career. From live shows to music releases, his following has grown through it all, and has been given more opportunities to take his music to new places. While he readies up a full length project for release later this year, he steps out with a new video for the single, “One Gift (Remix)“.

Directed by Fernando F. Hivea for Filmaica and featuring Recording Artist Jahmiel, Jah Lil takes on the road through cycling in the video for the Give Thanks Music/Out Deh Records-produced “One Gift (Remix)”. The two Artists deliver strong lyrics with their signature sounds, and make a collaboration that is sure to connect with the people. The single was released last month, and it was only right that there was a video made for it. They work well together, and we look forward to more collaborations with them. Elephant Man Drops Video For “Pretty Baby”

It’s a new day, and Dancehall Icon Elephant Man is at it again with something new. While the Deejay has been busy with the International bookings, he’s always finding time to create new music. He’s also promoting his latest EP, “Dancing To The Max“, so we can say he’s pretty busy. Tune in to the video for his new single, “Pretty Baby“.

Elephant Man’s “Pretty Baby” is definitely for the ladies. Directed by Simeon Di Great, Ele gets cozy with the ladies here, and from an intimately-designed room, to everyone dressing appropriately for the occasion, the sexy vibes are very present here. Ele borrows a little inspiration from the popular “Pretty Little Baby” song for the new release, but we get that signature energy from the Deejay throughout. For those needing something live from the Deejay, catch him in Philly on August 9, then the UK at the Ultra Weekend event in London, England on August 16-17, then on August 31 in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. The “Energy God Summer” continues.

1Ski OG Calls All The Ladies To “Bounce” To His New Single

Dancehall Artist 1Ski OG wasn’t going to let the Summer pass him by without dropping new music. He has been busy working on new releases since securing an International Record deal, and it’s now the season for him to take over the parties. He gives us the video for the new single, “Bounce“.

Directed by Shula The Don/Flee Flicks, 1Ski OG is ready for all the Caribbean ladies in the video for the Sartout Records-produced, “Bounce”. Secluded near the beach, he has ladies of all hues showing him what they’re working with, while repping Jamaica to the fullest. Over some heavy production, 1Ski is bound to get his Female listeners dancing along, and when he takes it on the road, expect some lively stage performances. Earlier this year, he released the singles, “Stay To Mi Self“,  “Double Life“, and “Feel Like“, which have been met with mostly positive feedback. We expect even more music in the coming weeks, but for now, keep “Bounce” in regular rotation.
