The Bouyon movement continues to grow, and we’re glad that more people are paying attention. We’ve previously featured the sound from the likes of Rudy Ru$h and Triszy, and today we highlight Guadeloupean Artist Miimii KDS. Every day is an exciting one for her, and today we feature, “6 O’clock“.

Produced by TitoWeGlobal, Joshii, and Jervon Henderson, Miimii KDS is down for some fun times when the clock strikes “6 O’clock”. When it’s time, she’s getting ready for unforgettable moments, and the production adds to the excitement. Every neighbourhood has them, and new ones are formed everyday. For every successful person, there’s someone who shares tales of delusion and fabrication. Now they can be great storytellers, but when the truth comes out, they go into hiding. The fast life has a large share of those type of people, and Dancehall Artist Vibes Machine calls them out in, “Cappa Choppa“.

In a video directed by 12Span Visuals, Vibes Machine questions the credibility of the local hustler in, “Cappa Choppa”. Overhearing a conversation, Vibes gets into interrogation mode and confronts the Man’s source of earnings, if he is really hustling as he says he is, and getting to the truth to see if he is factual, or a fraudster. There are many in the world who will pose with the belonging of someone successful, and even use them as a way to leverage favours from others, or open the door to an opportunity. When they’re called out on their lies, it is embarrassing, especially on Social Media. Watch out for the cappas.

It has been a while since Recording Artist Protoje made that grand visit to Ethiopia. The trip was a part of his inspiration for his latest album, “The Art Of Acceptance“, and the content that followed not only captured his experiences, but highlight the beauty of the country. We get another glimpse in his latest visual, “1000 Lashes“.

Directed by SAMO and featuring Stephen Marley, Protoje speaks on generational trauma, exploitation, the need for peace, and a better world for our children in “1000 Lashes”. Produced by Winta James, T.Y. Jake, and Universvl, the track is one of the more-loved entrants on “The Art Of Acceptance”. The visual continues to share Protoje’s time in Ethiopia, highlighting the city of Addis Ababa, the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum, and even bringing it back home with shots of the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston. The visual along with previoius releases are definitely fueling the ambitions of many to visit the African nation, and connect with their roots. The Reggae Artist continues to bring the album to more parts of the world, and for those who wish to see him live, stay tuned for updates.

There comes a time in life where the people you know for most or a part of your life are no longer here. We’re most times never prepared for that loss, and all we’re left with are memories. Bahamian Recording Duo Twindem knows too well that loss of people close to them, and like many of us, we wish time with them lasted “A Little Longer“.

Produced by Pic Pic for Spark Plug Productions, Twindem reflect on those they’ve lost along the way, and shares that would should cherish them while they’re still here. Whether it’s a family member or a friend, the hurt we received in the loss, would be nothing if we got another chance to be around them again. The duo speak on their feelings in a DrizzleDidThat-directed music video, and we see them remember important people, and reconnect with family and friends, strengthening the bonds that were once loose. Xkappe Cooks Up With “Bravery”

Manchester-based Dancehall Artist Xkappe has been picking up some steam over the past few weeks, and his catalogue has been doing numbers. Thanks to a few live performances and Media appearances, the Deejay looks to dominate the scene just like his fellow peers from the Parish. His work has been cut out for him, and he’s cooking up something. He recently released, “Bravery“.

Produced by Ducati Entertainment/Monster Rat Records/Sin Di Kid Entertainment and inspiration from the popular “Hush Little Baby” lullaby for the hook, Xkappe is on the hustle in “Bravery”. While he keeps the music going, he still speaks for those who get to the money through other means, because poverty is a crime.
