There’s a musical shakeup today, and the epicenter is in Ghana. One of the African Kings of Dancehall, Stonebwoy, has prepared something for the world to hear, and it promises to be a hot one. Make way for the release of the much-anticipated EP, “The Torcher“.

Featuring 9 tracks, Stonebwoy rises like the Phoenix with the new EP, “The Torcher”. He looks to set the standard again, giving the world music to think to, music to dance to, and music to live your life to. One of the most important acts on the scene, Stonebwoy has been building on his legacy, and wave the flag for Dancehall Music wherever he goes. Production on “The Torcher” includes contributions from John-Kwesi Dosunmu-Mensah, Bright Kwame Appiah, Ronald Banful, Olaleye Ayobami Oladapo, and Ross James O’Donoghe, while the project features appearances by OgeeTheMC, Beeztrap KOTM, Yaw Tog, Keeny Ice, and Agbeshie. His fanbase doesn’t mind, and they anticipate everything he’s working on. Recently, he dropped a new EP called, “Midnight Dreams“, and earlier he shared the new single, “Amakor“.

Produced by Nawtyboi, Shatta Wale speaks about being the #1 Bachelor in “Amakor”. We know he’s a hit with the ladies, and it becomes evident on Social Media, and when he hits the streets. The “African Giant” has been a topic of discussion over the past few months in regards to his love life among other things, but he’s doing what he does best, and that is deliver the music. Burna Boy has amassed success that is beyond measure for some, but he has worked his way up for it. With a new album on the way, he has been releasing a number of singles since last year. This time around, he’s giving us an “Update“.

Directed by UAX Studio, Burna Boy shares his continued rise, and his focus on receiving good energy daily in “Update”. The video features a mix of him enjoying a life of luxury, while other scenes promote strength (as shown in the “Tug of War” scene), unity, and gaining success. The video also pays homage to the “Soul Train” era of the 1970s. “Update” was produced by P2J, and is the second single off of Burna’s upcoming album, “No Sign Of Weakness“. The track also sampled Soul II Soul’s 1989 hit single, “Back To Life (However Do You Want Me)“. It’s Burna Boy’s season, and you can look forward to even more from him later this year.

The people have crowned him a King, and he continues to reign in his territory. For years, Ghana’s Shatta Wale has been dominating his Dancehall space, and his feats have made many compare him to some of the Dancehall greats in Jamaica. Last year, he made a formal introduction to Jamaica at Vybz Kartel’s “Freedom Street” Concert, despite having a presence here years before thanks to various releases and collaborations. He has come a long way, and he reflects in the “Rolls Royce“.

Produced by Damaker and Altrayd, Shatta Wale is living his best life in “Rolls Royce”. The Deejay looks back at the work it took for him to make it to the top, shows appreciation for the success he has gained, and looks forward to achieving even more, and motivating others in the process. Shatta has become quite the Businessman having scored hits, secured deals, and launched various initiatives, and his “Shatta Movement” continues to grow. Featuring Afrobeats star Crayon, this Ifeme C.S.-directed Music Video finds Almost Joey admiring the ladies in “If I Dey Lie”. Produced by Kraizee, Joey and Crayon share their love for the ladies over some production that will have you moving. The visual highlights a number of beautiful ladies in all flavours and styles, emphasizing the song’s dedication to them. “If I Dey Lie” was originally released in 2023, but the new version with Crayon looks to attract even more listeners, taking Almost Joey to new markets. The Ghanian giant Stonebwoy is here to make the world go ’round again with new music. He’s ready to make the 4th quarter of 2024 a very interesting time, and have all 2025 anticipating his next moves. His fans have been awaiting this, so he finally unleashed the new album, “Up & Runnin6“.

Featuring 13 tracks, Stonebwoy has something for everybody in his “Up & Runnin6” album.  The followup to the award-winning “5th Dimension” finds the “1GAD” Artist on a higher tier, with new vibes, new sounds, and an expansion on his lyricism. Production on “Up & Runnin6” include the likes of Mix Master Garzy, Sammy Soso, Ginton, Tk Kayembe, Samsney, and Streetbeatz, while Stonebwoy invited the likes of Spice, Kaylan Arnold, Amaria BB, Jahmiel, Blvk H3ro, and Wyclef Jean to join him on a number of tracks.
