We’re “one and ready” with a new entry so mek sure you can fit! Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel may be in a certain place at this time, but his name and music continue to circle the globe. This time around he collaborates with Ghanaian Artist Camidoh on the new single, “Taxi Man“.

Featuring UK Artist Miss LaFamilia, and DJ Lara Fraser from Australia, Camidoh and Vybz Kartel bring the vibes on “Taxi Man”. Over production by StreetBeatz, Toddla T, and Mix Pro, it’s a blend of melodies, clever lyrics, and what a Taxi Man is capable of when he gets into “Mr. Steal Your Girl” mode. A collaboration like this is needed like an Ontime Taxi after a party, and it continues to show that Afrobeats and Dancehall will always click, and the sounds will always be global. Earlier this week, we shared that Jamaican Producer Minto a.k.a. “Minto Play Da Riddim” will officially break into the Afrobeats scene with the single, “Intoxicated“, a track featuring Nigeria/UK-based Artist, Kid AlpHa. Music lovers have been anticipating the track’s release, and now it’s available for them to enjoy.

Combining Minto’s ability to blend great sounds to make something that the world will enjoy with Kid AlpHa’s melodic delivery, “Intoxicated” will find couples taking over the dance floors, beautiful vibes will fill the air, and the liquor will be flowing. Minto Taps Into Afrobeats With @KidAlpHaa On Upcoming Single

Jamaican Producer Minto o/c “Minto Play Da Riddim” has been a name that is synonymous with a number of hit singles over the years. Having contributed various new sounds and vibes to the culture, he lends his talents to the Afrobeats scene this year. He steps out with the new single, “Intoxicated”.

“Intoxicated” is Minto’s official entry into Afrobeats, with the hopes of making an impact. Done in collaboration with Nigerian-born/UK-based Recording Artist Kid AlpHa, the single is about finding someone special and having a good time together. A track that will have couples getting lost in each other, promoting a good vibe that will be contagious. Minto provides an infectious sound on the track, and paired with Kid AlpHa’s melodic delivery, make for a track that will be instantly loved by the listener. Minto and AlpHa make for a great combination, and plans are already afoot for future collaborations. “Intoxicated” is expected to become a hit for the collaborative duo, permeating radio throughout the Caribbean, and taking a significant place in African, European, and the American markets over the coming weeks.

Minto has played a significant role in Dancehall/Reggae music for a number of years, and has worked with the likes of Skillibeng, Vybz Kartel, Tatik, Kyodi, Popcaan, Munga Honorable, Charly Black, and Safaree. He looks to make a bigger impact in his production field, with more singles and Riddim compilations in the works. Kid AlpHa started his music career officially in 2020 with the single “Price Tag”, and quickly found success, becoming an Artist to know in Nigeria, the UK, South America, and other parts of the world. He has a number of singles to his name, and possesses a determination to make a bigger name for himself globally.

Burna Boy continues to take gigantic steps around the world. The “African Giant” has made his mark as one of the most successful African Artists out, and he has a lot more to do. 2023 has been pretty eventful so far for him. From sold out concerts, to making history, to connecting with some of the best and legendary talents, all eyes are now focused on his long-awaited album, “I Told Them“. He finally unleashed it.

Featuring 15 tracks, Burna Boy uses this album to experiment with new sounds, samples, and a few prominent names. The album follows up 2022’s “Love, Damani“, which was a success itself. Dancehall Artist Laa Lee is all about making great things happen in his life. The past few years saw him change from an upcoming act, to an Internationally recognized Artist, he knew from early that it would take work and a lot of dedication to make it big. People will have their opinions of him, but like his new single, he wants to live by his own rules on “Live My Life“.

Produced by Digital Productionz and featuring additional vocals by Monifa Goss, Laa Lee reflects on what it took to bring him this far in life. While many will see the glitter, they don’t know of the sleepless nights, the hungry days, and the broke times that could’ve made him do things against his character. People will talk as his attitude and focus may have changed since, but leave the man alone so he can live his life. Laa Lee continues to strive for greatness, and on the track he dabbles in some Afrobeats vibes here. Burna Boy is like a Locomotive, he just keeps going. Fresh off of sold out concerts, a special trip to Jamaica, and the recent release of his Apple Music Live Film, he’s loading up the machine to get his upcoming “I Told Them” album in motion. He kept things interesting with “Sittin’ On Top Of The World“, and now we get “Big 7“.

Directed by acclaimed Director Benny Boom and shot in New York, Burna Boy is on his “NY Sh**“, and he’s taking on the city like the African Giant he is. The video finds him at the Ball Park, at the Bodega, and the Pizza Parlour, and he connects with the likes of Hip Hop legends RZA (Wu Tang Clan), Busta Rhymes ,and members of Junior M.A.F.I.A. “Spiderverse” Actor Shameik Moore also makes a cameo appearance. “Big 7” is not only a track that finds Burna enjoying the spoils of his work (with a familiar sample), it’s more evidence of his growing global presence, and the name of his new Record label. Come August 25, the world will listen attentively to his new album, “I Told Them”.
