Bless Up: 5 @Sizzla876 Hip Hop Collabs!

Recently, a few pictures made its way onto the Internet hinting DJ Khaled’s upcoming collaboration with Reggae Legend, Sizzla Kalonji! With it possibly appearing on the DJ’s forthcoming “Grateful” Album, fans were overjoyed as Khaled has shown love to the Artist via his various Social Media outlets. While it’s no strange thing here, Sizzla has been a go to collaborator for years in Hip Hop along with a couple of his fellow peers, Junior Reid and Barrington Levy. He also enjoyed his share of hit songs being sampled in many Rap singles. Sizzla was also a signee of Rap Mogul Dame Dash’s now defunct “Dame Dash Music Group”. Below we feature 5 of Sizzla’s Hip Hop collaborations.

1. Shottas – Juelz Santana ft. Sizzla & Cam’Ron (2005)

2. Give Me A Try (Remix) – Sizzla ft. Rihanna (2003)

NEW MUSIC: @SpiceOfficial x @BustaRhymes – So Mi Like It (Remix)

spice-Ft-Busta-Rhymes-So-Mi-Like-It-RemixAfter hitting the airwaves with a single and video, Spice reloaded and recruited Rapper Busta Rhymes for “So Mi Like It“. With production from NotNice Records, The “Princess Of Dancehall” and the “Dragon” dropped some sexually charged lyrics to an already spicy track. Interesting to hear Spice rapping on the remix as well, this can’t be the only song they’ve done together. What do you think? MUSIC: @AsapFerg @EmperorRanks @BustaRhymes @MigosATL – Shabba (Remix)

After burning up the airwaves with the original, it was only right that A$AP Ferg requested a verse from Shabba Ranks to make the remix. “Shabba Ranks (Remix)” also features Busta Rhymes and Migos, who had a hit with “Versace“. This was a decent effort as many haven’t heard a Shabba verse in years and Busta Rhymes had to help represent on the microphone. The Migos feature was an odd one though. A$AP Ferg’s “Trap Lord” album is still in stores. Is this remix a sign of new things to come from Shabba? Maybe. Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @BustaRhymes x @IamTheKartel x @Tip x Others – #TwerkIt Remix

twerkitremix

After making headlines last month about wanting a Vybz Kartel collaboration, Busta Rhymes got his wish and then some on his “Twerk It Remix“. Featuring a fresh verse from the currently incarcerated Gaza boss along with great contributions from French Montana, Jeremih, Neyo and T.I., It’s obvious Kartel would be the main focus here. Technically the 2nd remix as Nicki Minaj’s version was made as the main single, this version is just as good and is sure to collect numerous spins. Busta Rhymes’ E.L.E. 2 album is on the way. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @BustaRhymes x @NickiMinaj – Twerk It

bustanicki

Today’s new music video comes from the duo of Busta Rhymes and Nicki Minaj. Titled “Twerk It” and directed by Director X, we see Busta waking up to tend to a few things only to be confronted by his lady friend. The video also moves to scenes of Busta going through a few costume changes in a dance while dealing with ladies who dance on him and a few men who confront him about matters. Nicki Minaj also shows up in various scenes moving her body (and booty) while deejaying her part of their dancehall-tinged single. Very clean video, funny in some parts with Busta being a character and overall not a bad effort because it’s all about twerking ladies (Who we’ve seen alot of). What do you think? Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @BustaRhymes – Twerk It (#TwerkIt)

bustapharrel

Out of nowhere Busta Rhymes  premiered a single that is sure to burn up the airwaves in the summer. Titled “Twerk It” and produced by longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams, Bussa Buss goes back to his Jamaican roots and deejays for the ladies to do all manners of dancing in the name of “Twerking“. Energetic tune as usual from the rapper and Pharrell made the production in this one. I believe this will be a summer hit but what do you think? Check out the single below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
