With a video directed by Shane Creative, Popcaan connects with the people, and shares the reality in, “Life Still A Gwaan”. Shot in St. Thomas, Popcaan shares what’s important to him, ensures he makes every day count, and will always make it a priority to prove the doubters wrong. The Damage Musiq-produced track also found him sending a shout out to the newly-freed Chronic Law, and encourages listeners to fight for what is right. Popcaan recently released “Lavish And Madish“, and has more singles to hit the streets, so fans can stay tuned. Born to prove them wrong.

To say Popcaan is successful is an understatement. Since his breakout at the end of the 2000s, he has connected with the right people, and elevated his music career, and finances. Being broke is definitely a thing of the past for him. Right now, he’s living “Lavish And Madish“.

Produced by Droptop Records/Unruly Ent., Popcaan is where he needs to be, with success beyond measure in, “Lavish And Madish”. From getting Millions, to running the place, he’s in a good place right now. “Lavish” is just one of a number of singles he has released recently, and best believe he has more to drop before summer. Outside of the Studio, he has been living it up in Jamaica, and even in Ghana where he was crowned sub-Chief, and bestowed the title, “Nana Okofo Akro Kese“. Najeeriii Starts A New Chapter With Debut Album, “Book Of Bob”

The 2020s introduced Jamaica to a wave of new acts, and Dancehall Artist Najeeriii was a part of the pack to made bold steps. Armed with unorthodox flow and lyrics, the Deejay quickly earned his fame and secured a fast-growing fanbase. Controversy came his way as well, but the catalogue kept growing. He also had a few missteps, but he managed to maintain a presence. Before 2025 comes to an end, he had one task to complete, and that’s to release his debut album, “Book Of Bob“.

Featuring 12 tracks, Najeeriii starts a new chapter in his career with his debut album, “Book Of Bob”. The album stands as a product of the young Deejay’s hard work since his debut single, and opens up a lane for him to elevate. Like previous releases, he has something for the ladies, taps into the fast lifestyle, conjures music for the parties, and showcases his style that continues to stand out. Production on “Book Of Bob” include the likes of MXSSIVH, Franc White, Dan Sky, Yo Christon, DethWrld, YC Studios, and KP, while Govana, Popcaan, Tarrus Riley, Bayka, Skillibeng, and Yung Bredda join him throughout. Najeeri Smart has come a long way from creating songs in High School, and is ready to take major steps on the global stage.

They never wanted Popcaan to make it in life, but he did. The Dancehall Artist has enjoyed a career that produced plenty high moments, and his talent has brought him enough success to take his people out of poverty. He secured a spot in the columns of Dancehall, and aims for more. Earlier, he premiered the video for the single, “Lifestyle Moment“.

Reuniting with Producer Notnice, Popcaan reflects on the days where he didn’t have much, and is giving thanks for the many blessings he has received in, “Lifestyle Moment”. Directed by Linkz Notnice, we get a highlight reel of the Deejay living it up with friends, sharing good times, spreading joy throughout. No longer will he see the days where he only had one pair of Sneakers, no more hungry days. The Deejay has done well for himself and others, and is setting examples for others to follow. It’s a success moment!

In the past 20+ years, we’ve witnessed the rise and growth of Social Media. From using Computers to expanding to Smart Devices, we have evolved significantly in the way we connect with people from around the world. When it comes to finding love, many of us have ventured in Social Media for it. For Dancehall Artist Popcaan, he uses “Snapchat” to connect with the ladies.

 In a video directed by Lagikz Supreme for Lagikz Visualz, Popcaan secures the connection with his lover over Wifi, and in person in “Snapchat”. The video finds the couple getting cozy in various scenes. Produced by Droptop Records, the Deejay is setting up for a Summer filled with big songs, and we expect “Snapchat” to do well with his Female audience. On a side note, when is Popcaan getting back his US Visa? It would be great to see him on US soil performing, especially with his Mentor Vybz Kartel. Social Media continues to reach the people.

Vybz Kartel’s “Clarks” Featured In New Supreme X @Transformers Promo

Where are the Streetwear Scholars? The Brand Aficionados? Streetwear brand Supreme has announced their official collaboration with the classic “Transformers” franchise. The hit TV/Film franchise teams up with the New York-founded Streetwear brand to launch a new Optimus Prime figure featuring special makeup/branding. To kick things off, the collaborators released a promotional video to announce the new venture, but a familiar sound was featured throughout.

In the promotional video for Supreme and Transformers’ new collaboration made by PlasticAction that features a dancing Optimus Prime action figure, Vybz Kartel’s 2009 hit single, “Clarks” was used in the soundtrack. Produced by ZJ Chrome, Vybz Kartel’s “Clarks” was an ode to the popular British Footwear brand. The song also featured a then upcoming Artist named Popcaan, who recently joined the Portmore Empire/Gaza collective, and Gaza Slim who also a fresh recruit. “Clarks” would take the scene by storm, and further contributed to the already growing love for the line of shoes in Jamaica, and the rest of the Caribbean. With Vybz Kartel being featured in the promotional spot, it’s only right that Supreme reaches out for a collaboration (Supreme if you’re reading this, I want a care package of the Vybz Kartel collab please and thanks).
