Since March 2025, we premiered a new weekly Playlist called, “What’s On 13th Street?“. Since then, we have featured over 600 new songs from Artists in and outside the Caribbean. Some are your faves, others are legends in the game, and some newcomers. All we ask of you is to show the Playlist some love through regular shares, follows, and your enjoyment.

This week for “What’s On 13th Street?“, we featured Moliy’s “PARTYGYAL” with bees & honey, Grenada’s own Terra D Governor’s “Korra Katara”, “Suriname Gyal” by Samora, Elephant Man’s “Falling In Love”, Mavado and Valiant’s “Big Blessing” collaboration, and Chris Malachi’s “Jeezam Peezam”.

The “What’s On 13th Street?” Playlist is now available for streaming on Spotify.

Dancehall Artist Skillibeng keeps a collaboration on him. He recently secured a Gold certification thanks to his part in Moliy’s “Shake It To The Max (Remix)“, and the possibilities are endless for him this year. He’s good in every genre, and his next collab on the single “Ballerina” is all about the ladies.

Produced by Silent Addy and Disco Neil for Bashment and featuring Naija star Rema, Skillibeng has the ladies in certain positions in, “Ballerina”. With a video directed by Miklas Manneke for Nouvelle Films, we see the Artists joining in genres, lyrics, and style, while a Ballerina graces the visual with her presence and prowess throughout. Skillibeng continues to tap into the AfroFusion market, and if “Ballerina” takes off in the right way, we can expect more plaques for the Deejay. Something steamy for the Friday. Rie Osei is a legend in the making. The Ghana/Chicago-based Recording Artist has been cruising in top gear with her music over the past couple years. From growing her streaming numbers and fanbase, to connecting with some of the biggest names in Afrobeats, she’s setting herself up to be a name for many to remember. With a year that found doing necessary things to further build her career, she steps into the closing parts of 2025 with, “Problem“.

Produced by Jhinzo and Sarmyfire, Rie Osei is owning her moment, and might be too much for those in her way in, “Problem”. Armed with Amapiano/Afrofusion sounds, she delivers something that will put some bounce in our systems, while reeling us in with her vocals that  will stay in your head for a long time. She has been building her catalogue, and with the energy she shared throughout this year, she will bring it a more levels in 2026. No matter what’s happening in the world, music will be the thing that helps to keep us going. Rie Osei is a good problem to have.

Jst Sako Releases Visual For ReasonHD-Featured, “Ngimtholile”

Recently, South African Recording Artist/Producer Jst Sako released his debut album, “TUKA“. Since then, he has been receiving a great deal of feedback and support for the project, and he’s more motivated than ever to push the project to more people around the world. Earlier, he premiered the music video for the track, “Ngimtholile“.

With BySomeIdiot Studios handling the video’s direction, Jst Sako and featured guest ReasonHD talk about love, and finding that special person in, “Ngimtholile”. “Ngimtholile” means “I found him/her” in Zulu, and the video shows Sako enjoying every moment with his love interest. It’s a great feeling to wake up to the one you love, sharing intimate moments, spending quality time together, and connecting in ways that further solidifies the union. “Ngimtholile” is one of the popular tracks off of the album, and the video looks to give it a longer shelf life.
