On this morning’s “Ebro In The AM” show on Hot 97, Dancehall artist Tifa was a featured guest. Here she spoke on her music, being dubbed “Queen of the Dancehall“, her influences, being a part of the “On The Reggae Tip” event, wanting to be one of the top Dancehall artists making it big internationally, maintaining a level of professionalism in her career, and proving many wrong. Tifa also handled her own on the microphone where she performed “Back It Up” and other songs. I liked this interview and Tifa handled herself well and represented Jamaica well. Tifa’s been on a good run as of late with the new record deal, Headphones and her singles so she has a right to wear the crown. From riding around in a Bentley to taking her place on the Throne, Tifa makes it known that she’s the Queen of wining in her new music video. Titled “Bak It Up“, which was directed by Benmarc and shot in Los Angeles, the Island Kings Records signee lets us know that she’s a professional at wining and is so good that she can captivate any man and have him “tied“. The video features lots of colours, wining beauties with Tifa joining in, cameos from the Island Kings Records team, and the usual energy from Tifa. Great video here and it’s a very clean one too. This was premiered earlier at Tifa’s “Summer Of Secrets” event along with a few other surprises. Be sure to check out her website TifasWorld.com for updates. With news of her signing to Island Kings Records, Tifa has been toiling hard over the years to become a success in the Dancehall scene. Sitting on the set for the first time, she had a chat with Winford Williams about that and more. Here she spoke on the details of her new record deal, furthering her global popularity, her single “Body Up” being featured in the Netflix series “Hemlock Grove“, working on a music video for “Back It Up” and the success of that single, getting her start in her music career, the challenges she’s faced before and during her career, proving many people wrong with her talent, avoiding conflicts in the Music Fraternity and encouraging unity among female artists, releasing her first big budget music video and hosting an event for it, Reggae Sumfest 2014, future projects and endorsements. Loved this Interview here, looking forward to the new developments in her career. There’s no slowing down of her progress. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
It’s all about the wining with Tifa’s new single today. Titled “Back It Up” and produced by Island Kings Records, Tifa proclaims herself as the “Wining Professional” and shows the ladies how she makes it twerk and even have her exes reminiscing about it. Roll up yuh bumpa from you got the good stuff ladies. A good effort from T-I-F-A as I can picture fan videos being made to this song or even this setting it off for wining contests. What do you think of the song? Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
