Yaksta is back at it again with new music. The Deejay has been on a roll all year, displaying great consistency, and keeping his fanbase occupied. Like a loaded gun, he’s ready to fire, and he brings the energy and more in, “Response“.

Produced by Frankie Music/Bush Music/MaffiaLee Production, Yaksta takes the music to new vibes in, “Response”. Yaksta doesn’t play in real life and on the track, he has brooms lined up, and is ready to hit those who approach him the wrong way with something serious. The track is accompanied by a Music Video filmed by KhingCam/JV Cinematic/Quan Motionz, and we see Yaksta taking his place as a ruler with a few brooms within his reach. The broom takes on many forms throughout the visual, and it doesn’t take long for the viewer to see what they really take the place of. Yaksta continues to hit the people with new music, and creativity in the visuals. It’s “Bush” time.

It wouldn’t have been Summer if Dancehall Artist Roze Don didn’t make a contribution. The Deejay has managed to stay consistent with the music, and fans anticipate every release. This time around, he’s getting the ladies ready to bubble in, “Bam Bam“.

Produced by Bugzy2Flashy for 2 Flashy Records/Dark Disciple Records, Roze Don wants all the ladies to get on bad in, “Bam Bam”. The track taps into a familiar sound, which is the classic “Bam Bam” by the legendary “Riddim Twins” Sly & Robbie. “Bam Bam” gave us hits like “Murder She Wrote” by Chaka Demus & Pliers, “Dem A Bleach” by Nardo Ranks, and was sampled by many over the years (Check out our “Sampling Sly & Robbie” Playlist). Roze Don does the Riddim justice by providing a song that will have the ladies dropping the shyness, and showing off how that booty bounces on the dance floor. The track is accompanied by a Music Video directed by Banka for Bankroller Visuals, and features an appearance by Video Vixen Zho. Summer caan done just yet, tune in to some new Roze Don.

On July 2, the Jamaican music scene received news of the passing of Dancehall Artist, Starr Dane. The Deejay was on the rise showing great promise with his releases over the years, but his life was tragically taken in Los Angeles, California. A member of the Dale Virgo-founded DZL Records, he shared his skillset with many Artists, and always promoted positivity in his conversations. In order to preserve his memory, it is encouraged for listeners to get familiar with his previously-released work, and now his latest single, “Wha Gwaan“.

Produced by Dale Virgo, “Wha Gwaan” is Starr Dane’s final recorded track. The track delves into some Social Commentary as Dane questions the Island’s rising crime rate, the corruption, the deception by those in power, and the imbalance in the way of life for the citizens. Dane asks the right questions here, and the track looks to inspire others to ask the same questions, with more action into getting the answers and fixing things. The late Deejay’s final entry should not go by the wayside, and should encourage positive change for not only Jamaica, but for the rest of the world where the issues also reside. Armanii Shares New Single, “You & I”

Dancehall Artist Armanii has been having an Interesting year. When he wasn’t going viral on TikTok, he was doing numbers with his music, and getting his name out to more people. He was recently dealing with some health problems, and but has since bounced back ready to make big moves. This time around, he’s looking to secure another hit for the rest of the year with, “You & I“.

Produced by Kulcha, Armanii’s “You & I” looks to be a hit with the couples. With lyrics geared towards getting close to his Woman, we can expect the track to enjoy live on Social Media through a series of videos. Production taps into some Drill Music vibes, and aims to keep the listener focused throughout. Accompanying it is a Visualizer directed by DJuvii featuring Recording Artist Sp!da and with Armanii they’re doing everything from making videos, grocery shopping, traveling, and chilling by the seashore together. The video will be a hit with the fans, and look forward to how the track will do for the rest of the year.

When it comes to the ladies, it’s all about the beauty, the style, the fashion, and the presence that can set the mood. When it comes to the ladies in the dance, Japanese Deejay Hibikilla has his focus on them every time. He talks about it in his new single, “Batty Rider“.

Hibikilla handles the production on the new “Batty Rider” single, and he enlists Brazilian Recording Artist Arcanjo Ras, and Brazilian DJ ED as they share how they feel about the Women who know how to catch the eye with their clothing. Taking on a style reminiscent of the ‘90s Dancehall era, we get a track that aims to shake up the scene when played, gets the ladies feeling their best, and creating a vibe that won’t die down. For those unfamiliar, a “batty rider” is a pair of shorts that are extra short. Some would call them “daisy dukes” while others say “pum pum shorts“, and they are sure to attract a lot of attention.
